Classic Novels That Even Hesitant Readers Love Novels & Stories

I threw myself back in the teal armchair, annoyed that I didn't discover anything. Then I see it. An old copy of Pride and Prejudice. It’s an addiction. I never read Romeo and Juliet because it has a sad ending, I hate sad endings. I love a story such as The Last Song, She’s the Man, Bridal Waves and the list goes one. Twisted story but with happy endings in the end.

He took a long gulp from his glass. Sophia closed her eyes as though she was embarrassed.

"Well, sometimes I watch T.V. I like, well, love to read. So I do that a lot when I'm alone." "Like what? Romance, crime thrillers?" I shrugged. "Sometimes. I really like the classics. Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, George Elliot (who was a woman, by the way). I also like the Russians, like Tolstoy and Dostoevsky. 'War and Peace' is amazing." "You've read 'War and Peace'?" "Yeah, twice. It's excellent." I cocked my head. "How about you, what do you like to read?"

The library’s floor is polished, and it has a granite fireplace and a comfortable, well-worn sitting arrangement. I heave a sigh, relieved that Ms. Lennie isn’t around to reprimand me. I don’t think this book was written to be taken apart.” She scoffs. “It’s a classic, what else was it written for then?” I shrug a shoulder, trying to stay unfazed by the rapt attention of the class and of a certain someone all directed at me. “Maybe John Steinbeck just wanted to make his readers feel numb.”

There were modern novels, too, including Stephen King and Sidney Sheldon, but they didn't look as well read as some of the others.
