When The Sky Falls

When The Sky Falls

Lia settled into the bleachers, her heart racing with excitement as she watched the boys compete on the ice. Tyler stood out, gliding effortlessly across the rink with a grace that left her in awe. It was as if he had been destined to play hockey from the moment he could skate. With each swift movement, he danced around his opponents, demonstrating a skill that took both Lia and the crowd by surprise, especially when he outmaneuvered Asher, a player known to be the king of hockey in Crestwood.

Heart Toward the Sky

Heart Toward the Sky

Scrolling through the other messages, I finally found a peaceful spot. Lorne: [Good morning, Chloe. I'm coming to pick you up. Don't forget sunscreen today. The sun is really strong.] I: [Got it.] Feeling bored, I clicked into his private page and scrolled through his posts until I came across an invitation, with the caption: [Here we go.] I sat up straight, staring at the invitation. Then a laugh escaped my mouth because it was an invitation to a private gathering from the Lockhart family. No wonder...

"Jeff? Is he your husband?" "No, he's a stranger." With those final words, Cecilia stood up and walked out without looking back. Black Wings

Black Wings

Raymond's head was tilted upward, gazing at the dark sky with its twinkling stars. Ravi gazed at Raymond's outstretched wings, which slowly flapped with soft feathers dancing in the biting morning breeze. The black feathers of Raymond's wings were as dark as the night sky, and something stirred in Ravi's chest as he watched those wings, as if he was living in a fantasy tale he had once read. Ravi was captivated when Raymond turned and descended from the window, his eyes widening as he locked eyes with Ravi.

His Warrior Luna

His Warrior Luna

Aldophus didn't reply to what Cleo said and instead changed his clothes before leaving the room and leaving the palace. *** Sara reached Autumn town on the third day in the evening. The city was thrown into turmoil as the news of a tiger rider spread like wildfire. It wasn't long until Sara found an inn to pass the night as the growling and roaring of her tiger came from the shed. "Did you lock the shed?" Sara asked the owner of the inn. "Yes. Very tight milady," the innkeeper said and went his way. When it comes to capturing, Sky could easily be trapped because he isn't a wild tiger. He had grown right from when he was a cub in her home and that made him less hostile.

Warrior of the Way

Warrior of the Way

Buttercup jerked her gaze toward the windows as the night over Feather Lakes exploded in a cacophony of sounds. She heard screaming as people begged for the death of the Warrior and saw the flames from fiery arrows arc across the sky. She stared, mouth open wide, as smoke filled the sky. What the hell? Arrows?

The Enigmatic Warrior

Their team won the match and sharp noise of clapping, hooting and party poopers rose in the ground. Minahil's face held a blazing appearance for she felt their team did not win because of her cousin Zaviar. They owed their success to Abraham Chauhdry, her rival. "You didn't play well Zaviar" she said as soon as he approached them. Other boys and girls were gathered around Abraham. She glared at them and then turned her gaze to the boy standing in front of her and heard him, "We won, that is important," he shrugged and took the water bottle from Yara.

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

With the major fighters of Great Sky Group gathered in front, they firmly stopped Matthew and the rest of Wolf’s Den in their tracks. “Clear a path for me,” Tyr ordered. Torbert and Jermaine instantly rushed over with speed. Torbert knocked Jude aside with a single punch, while Jermaine flung out his golden playing cards. Having managed to rush over as well, Zeppelin swung his sword and easily sliced off an arm of one of the Great Sky Group’s fighters. “Stop him!” Sky roared. James was the first one who stepped out in an attempt to stop Tyr. “Scram!” snapped Tyr.

Reborn Luna

Reborn Luna

Stevie I lean back against the cool stone of the overlook and tip my face up toward the sky, letting the thin autumn sun warm my cheeks. The clouds move slow today, stretched and lazy, like they don’t know a war is coming. Like the world isn’t holding its breath. Below me, in the training yard, Sky stands awkwardly among a cluster of kids his age. Teenagers, technically. Almost-grown wolves with too-long limbs and too-loud voices. He doesn’t quite fit the circle they’ve formed. He never does.
