The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

She rocks slowly back and forth whilst working on her crochet. "Two heirs there will be. One of light and one of dark. One to tear the world asunder and the other to bring the pieces back together. The seeker must seek but be aware that all is not as it seems." her voice cries out, the ring of truth echoing through it.

Rival Alphas: Dance of Desire

Rival Alphas: Dance of Desire

Sitting in the dim light of my apartment, I heard the distinctive sound of a door closing from across the hall. A sinister smile crept over my face. Clay was leaving. I slid the glass door to my balcony open and peered down to see his black car pull out of the parking garage, heading north. He's going home, I thought, how convenient. My Stepfather Is My Mate

The heavy oak door creaked open, revealing the heart of my sanctuary. The flickering candlelight cast a warm, golden glow that danced upon the ancient stone walls, illuminating the tapestries that bore witness to generations of history. Each thread told a story, woven into the fabric of time, reminding me of the legacy I carried on my shoulders. The air held a hint of smoldering embers, a fragrant reminder of hearth and home. The hearth itself, its flames a vibrant dance of orange and gold, crackled with a comforting r

Wow so many updates should I be happy or surprised? I think both. I love the way this story going on... The hunters, Elves, and wolves. It's so much of my type with way too much of fantasy characters. And I love that author is thinking about side characters as well. The 18+ part is just so ............

This book started off good but took off in another direction, like it was a completely different book. Some of the chapters don’t even match up with what’s going on or with the characters in the book. I’ve read this far just to see how it ends but the story keeps changing.I’m done wasting $

The Blessed Priestess (Book One)

The Blessed Priestess (Book One)

She glowed with pride in her creation. “Let me see it now.” From the other room came the demand of the High Priestess and I took a deep breath preparing to be in my role. I walked out preparing to go to the room. “Oh wait! Your shoes!” Clara scrambled out. She bent down to place these soft satin handmade light blue shoes with white lace for trim on my feet. “Oh Clara, I can put them on!” I didn’t want her to do things like this.

Midnight Sins: A Spicy Compilation

Midnight Sins: A Spicy Compilation

The study was a sanctuary of flickering orange light and deep, velvety shadows. The fire in the hearth had burned down to a pile of glowing embers, casting a warm, amber glow across the rows of leather-bound books and the heavy mahogany desk that now served as Clara's altar. Julian had swept the papers and inkwells to the floor with a single, violent motion of his arm, the crash of crystal and parchment long forgotten.

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

Morwen sat beside her, and Clara brushed the snow from her hair. "The watcher is making the world whole," Clara said. Morwen nodded. "The watcher is becoming the world." --- Seren had finished her new book. She brought it to the garden on the winter solstice, the pages bound in leather stamped with a gold flower. The title was simple: The Witnesses: A Record of Healing. "The families in the eastern provinces helped me write it," Seren said, sitting on the stone bench. "Their stories, their grief, their hope. The watcher witnessed them. I wrote them down."

his fingers trace idle patterns on her hip while he waits for her answer, content just to hold her like this while she relaxes against him. “Ohhh, a detective novel,” Harper said playfully and her gaze roamed over the book cover for the novel ‘The orphanage by the Lake’ by Daniel G. Miller. The title is written in large white capital letters at the top of the cover, where ‘ORPHANAGE’ and ‘LAKE’ appears in larger font. The centre of the cover features a large, old mansion situated directly beside a lake. The mansion appears symmetrical, with multiple windows and several chimneys rising from the roof. One or two windows glows with warm yellow light, standing out against the otherwise dark buil

The Hayes' Hearth

Now I resent spending any time alone with him. “What about?” I asked coolly as I don’t want my voice to betray me as I will be happy to be in his presence. I will try to fight this attraction. If only it was that easy. “I have read the new insight into Cornwall’s Core. It was unnerving and I think you have done a great job with it,” he said as he settled his green eyes on me. I blinked. “Oh, well, thank you—“
