I had a folder with all the entries for the tattoo ideas in it. "My favorites are these three." I mind-linked. She took out the top three and looked at them. The first one was a crescent moon with a swirling cloud thing behind it. The description was that we were called shadow pack, so it would make sense that we had a shadow of the moon to represent us. She then looked at the next one. It was two hands that looked to be made from shadows reaching for one another. Then she came to the last one.

I wondered why Blaze decided to get this tattoo done. I really liked how subtle the ink was done. The black ink accentuated his fair slightly tanned skin well and stood out proudly. I couldn’t decipher the image even though it looked oddly familiar. I traced the black ink with my index finger, feeling its softness, and made out the lines. The artwork was really unique but peculiar. It started from the top of his shoulder to all the way down and stopped a few inches on top of his forearm. It was a really strange piece of work but it also looked quite attractive at the same time.

It’s perfect.” He pulls a marker out and holds my hand. “Start with the point of the blade here?” “Yeah.” He flicks the blue marker on my skin close to my wrist. “End of the blade here?” He holds the marker close to my skin. “Longer.” I nod as he slides the marker up my arm. “Right there.” He flicks the marker again, then draws a circle. “Then the rose will be about here.” “Perfect.” “Leni, you sure you want a tattoo that size on your forearm? It’s pretty big.”

Nadia's POV I lay in bed, hearing the chirping of birds and seeing the small amount of sunlight peeking through the curtains in mine and Nate's room. I bite my lip as I think about what happened between us last night. It was pre bliss. I roll over in bed and watch his peaceful sleeping form, bare chested and muscles fully on display. His left arm is over his eyes, which is where his forearm tattoo is. I take the time to admire it closely, the intricate vines, thorns and cracks perfectly placed, travelling up his arm until they fade away into his skin close to his elbow. I glance as his bare chest, realizing he has many more tattoos that I never noticed before.
