Before, it was in June. Nevertheless, people should have not cursed Mother Nature for this predicament. All of these misfortunes and haul of miseries are what they caused to themselves. Walking in, I wave at the cashier, who's usually the one here when I come in. "Afternoon, Trick," the older man calls to me. "Hot one today, huh?" "Hopefully the last one," I'm grabbing the biggest bottle of water when I realize I'm kind of hungry too. Turning the corner, I find myself in the section with kid's toys. "The weather man says so," he's continuing. "Supposed to have a cold front move through tonight. They're saying low sixties in the morning." "I can't wait," I mumble as I glance over stuff decidedly much more pink than anything else I've ever looked at.

She already felt the keychains but got stuck to one of her things inside. “Oh, shoot,” she mumbled as droplets of rains started to pour, the gray clouds already crawling on the sky. Augustus looked at her curiously from his car, hearing everything she mumbled despite the good distance between them. He patiently waited for her to reach the entrance of the parking lot, easily dropping the hood of his black jacket over his head, hating the coldness of the wind because of the rain. A rain in the summer? He didn’t like it at all. That and the fact that he made a slip and lowered his guard down to her, making him and his brother vulnerable. The way his brother Ram threw him a look of disappoint na

The summer season came in and Augustine is going to travel back to his father Mike he will be there for a while and they will stay in Rose's house and she will stay in Mike's house. Early in the morning when Mike sits beside in lake watching the sunrise and peaceful birds fly by he indulges the moment.

I peered back down the steep slope and understood it was all over. I don't think I'll ever come back here, Augustine. How could you let me fall in love with you after I realized that you didn't love me? Even though it's the end of summer, the weather today is comparable to the hunting day we met. When the trumpet sounds again, I won't think of you anymore. "For freedom, Silvy, let's go." Third Person POV After returning to the group, Augustine hurried back to the office to round up virtually all of the soldiers for his mate.

The final game for the winner of this year’s tournament would start around eight o'clock tonight. It had rained sometime after midnight and a cold front moved in, thankfully dropping the forecasted temperature for the day. It was only supposed to reach the low eighties for the high, a drastic change over the ninety and hundred plus heat indexes we had been dealing with for the last three months. Fall had officially arrived and the excitement combined with the anticipation was contagious.

“After the thaw begins but before the passes open fully. Fewer travelers. Fewer eyes. Fewer chances for accidents.” August had exhaled, relief and wariness mingling in the breath. He had expected resistance, delay, perhaps even refusal. Instead Winter had given him a date. A frame. A boundary. “And the name?” August had asked carefully. “You’re still going with…” Winter had turned then, face unreadable in the shifting firelight. The scar over his left brow stood out starkly, a pale slash against the shadowed planes of his cheek. His storm-gray eyes had met August’s without warmth, without hesitation.

I send them crashing to the ground as I take their weapons. The battle rages on, and I gather up all the guns, placing them in an open space before me. It’s my way of ensuring they can’t be used while my wolves finish the fight. Then I see him—Augustine—cocking his gun and pointing it directly at me. A cruel, dark smile creeps across my lips. He thinks he’s got me, but he’s sorely mistaken. I’ve waited for this moment, to have him within my grasp, permanently. Tonight is my lucky night.

I said, and slammed the door behind me. The drive to the northern guest mansion was silent. August, who was only twelve and still smelled like a pup, sat in the back seat of the yellow utility jeep, holding three heavy boxes of green linens. His mother, Audrey, sat in the passenger seat, her eyes fixed on the dark, thick pine trees lining the dirt road. The mansion sat on a high ridge, a massive three-story structure of grey stone and black glass, completely isolated from the rest of the territory.

Augustus said excitedly with a wide smile. “That’s nice,” the ginger haired smiled back, “I’ll see you later then.” Austin replied, as he left for his studio. “Okay then, let’s get to work.” Augustus spoke to himself as he closed the front door, picked up the groceries and determinedly stepped towards the kitchen, humming one of his favorite songs, all while keeping an eye on the calmly busy baby in the seating area. The weather outside was genially sunny today, and the bright streets of London were bustling as usual, while the people went on about their business, just like the pleasant breeze whistling by.
