I didn't remember us booking an appointment with him… except Aries did without informing me. "Where’s Aries?" came the terse reply, Mr. Robert’s voice uncharacteristically shaky as his eyes darted around the living room as if he was hiding somewhere around. “He went out to make a supply run for a client. You know the drill,” I replied, noting the way Mr. Robert’s face fell further, drained of its color. “Is everything okay?” “Have you seen Rochelle? Please, Adrien, I need to know,” he pressed, his voice tightening with urgency.

Blair’s POV The gasps that followed when Kade accused Carlton and Wesley of trying to sabotage the test made my stomach tighten. My heart hammered in apprehension as everything unfolded before my eyes. I was glad that the worst was over and the results were now in our favor, but I couldn’t help but wonder how this sudden conflict would end. “I think it’s time the council saw the truth,” Robert’s voice boomed from where he stood. From where I sat, I could see him pull something from his coat and when I looked closely, they looked like photographs. He held them up high enough for everyone to see and my breath caught as whispers stirred around us.

I removed my leg from his chest and the security guard looked at us skeptically, unsure of how to properly proceed. “I assure you Black, I'm fine.” He nodded and walked back but I knew he wouldn't go too far. I turned my attention to Robert, who was standing up and dusting off his body. He looked like he was either in his late twenties or early thirties, his hair was ginger and curly, he also had the cutest freckles under his eyes based on what I could see from the night light we were literally standing under. He was tall and a bit muscular, and he was as red as ever. Maybe embarrassed or angry.

"I don't know him personally, but I've heard some things. Robert is not a good person. You should keep your distance from him," Andrew's tone was calm, but his expression was very serious. He wasn't joking with her. He hadn't met Robert in person. Although Robert was currently the CEO of Moonlit Art Inc., he was still essentially working for others. His status was not high enough to associate with the Turner family. Andrew had only heard about Robert from Beta Ryan, and the stories weren't exactly flattering.

“Thank you Colette, that means a lot. Um, we’re getting a car to Newark but still headed to D.C. tomorrow as planned, so all on track.” Rob was now crawling up the bed with a devious look in his eye and I knew I needed to get off this call. “I’ll um.. call you tomorrow ok.. love ya bye!” I managed to hang up just as he nuzzled into my neck and lightly bit me. “Spoilsport” he pouted and I laughed. “That was Colette, my friend who is also PR for my publisher, and managing my tour all the way from Sandy Ridge!” He kept kissing my neck “Uh huh… I’m gonna have see this.. We headed out the door and drove to Honey Dew Crematorium. When we arrived at the scene, we were brought up to date by a cop that neither of us had seen before. Jack Robertson had just transferred from New York, he was tall, about 6’3” and very handsome features. He has piercing brown eyes, square jaw and straight nose, he very much looked like a male model. As I looked at him, she thought that he looked kind of like Tucker but quickly shook that imagery out of her mind. “One of the victims was a college student by the name of Kamey Stewart, she had also been reported missing about two days ago.” Officer Robertson’s voice sounded strained, like he was fighting to keep his food down.

Robertson let out a sad smile. He was glad, somehow, unlike him, his son got the happiness he deserved. Shaking his head at the sudden image of his son's lover with serious passionate eyes, Mr. Robertson chuckled. He now knew why his son was so in love with a person with a name of Kathryn Taylor.

“How are you, Robert?” Instead of answering, Robert was indifferent. "Don't tell me you want to apply for a job here!" Ryan stood up from the security post bench, then approached Robert and said, “Your pathetic ex-brother-in-law is the OB at Nano-ID. Are you surprised?” Robert nodded quickly. He looked disdainfully at Stefan. “If he worked just to lick the employees' toilets, I would never be surprised. OB is too high for a pathetic guy like him.” Ryan laughed loudly then said, “He just started working today. I've tried hard to convey to the CEO's assistant that I have a friend to work with for this month. I don't know, after that, whether he will continue to work here or not."
