All that mattered was right now.
I took a quick shower and threw on some clothes before leaving with Cole. One of his father’s drivers dropped him off to pick up his Chiron, which is what we left in. Almost lovingly, Cole ran his hands over the imported leather and steering wheel, letting out a sigh of relief when he noticed everything intact.
“Ye’ of little faith.” I commented, turning to look out the window as a smirk crept across my face.
Cole chuckled, flattening the long strands of his hair that had been blown out of place from him opening the window. He glanced at me as he turned onto the main road, grinning confidently.
