It would be their last move. The Red Dragon exhaled with a loud and mighty roar. An enormous wave of hot fire poured out of the dragon's open jaws and covered both monsters. Emma, Steve and Marcus dropped to their knees as the heat covered them. It burned and choked them terribly despite the fact that they were far away from the fire. Loud, bloodcurdling and gut wrenching screams took over and Emma grunted in pain at the indescribable noise. Her ears drums strained from the screams and she covered her ears and shut her eyes hard.

Anna whispered fiercely, driving her hand into the center of the pedestal. A sharp silver needle extended from the mechanism, piercing the palm of her hand. The pedestal hummed to life pulsing with a deep, rhythmic amber glow that matched her heartbeat. Across the subterranean vault, the runes carved into the remaining stone pillars began to flare to life, casting long sharp shadows against the dust filled air. The Colossus felt the shift immediately. It let out a soundless roar that sent a physical shockwave through the room, turning to face Anna. It ignored Liam entirely, raising both fists high into the air, preparing to bring them down directly onto the central terminal and Anna with it.

Broken ships hung from chains across its shoulders, their sails drifting like torn skin. The Sea Colossus opened its mouth. The current dragged us forward. Renji drove his blade into the path. “Hold on.” I fell to one knee and grabbed the nearest carving. Kiyomi did not move. Astraya stood inside her, untouched by the pull. The Colossus looked at her. Blue fire filled the hollow spaces of its eyes. “Guardian,” Astraya said. “Your queen has returned.” The creature’s mouth closed. The current stopped.

The Shadow Dragon suddenly lowered its enormous head. Smoke curled from its nostrils as it inhaled deeply. Kael recognized the warning immediately. "Take cover!" A torrent of black fire erupted from the dragon's mouth. The flames swept across the sanctuary like a tidal wave. Crystal pillars shattered instantly. Stone melted beneath the unbearable heat. Several of Varis's soldiers were thrown across the chamber before they could even raise their shields. The survivors screamed as they scattered. Liana covered her face. The heat was overwhelming. Kael stepped in front of her and thrust his sword toward the approaching flames.

Then I saw Black Dragon picking something and put it on his pocket. He then looked straight at me and nodded. I headed outside still dragging Big Boss. The two guards are not there anymore. Then Black Dragon spoke beside me.

A column of divine fire formed a shape of a dragon, golden white and endless, poured onto Kal with force. He screamed, his form unravelling, burning, breaking. Shadows poured from his mouth as he howled, not in rage now, but agony.
