Colt's POV I swear I'm not a stalker or a creep! I just... Well I was worried about her so I brought a chair in and watched Aurora sleep... I've watched her steady breathing So I'm sitting in an uncomfortable chair in a pair of sweat pants and socks making sure nothing happens to her. I can see the sun finally breaking through the storm clouds. Hopefully this is a good sign. The storm was raging all night long with the wind and thunder battering my house, much like my own turbulent emotions.

A big rig rolled by on the highway, lights flashing across the ceiling. “You know the others?” Tess asked quietly, tracing a scar on his ribs. “Some. Caleb, Jax, Boone, Elias, Reid. We cross paths at rodeos, supply runs, back roads. Same kind of life. Same kind of lonely till the right woman shows up.” Tess propped herself on an elbow. “And you? Just passing through?” Colt pulled her closer, big hand stroking her back. “Was. Not sure anymore. This place feels like it could use a steady hand. And I could use a reason to stick around.”

I say. Colt turns back to the door and pounds on it. "Come on, Alessandro!" He presses his lips closely to the door. "It's me Colt. Ethan's here, too, and Corac—Cora. You know, your friends from Royal Elite?" I glance at the crowd to see if any of them are suspicious, but they're busy with their gambling. "Maybe he has earplugs in," Ethan suggests. "Or he's sleeping." "Stupid school and their no cell phone policy," Colt grumbles. "Let me try the combination. These locks are just like the ones at Royal Elite."

Colt POV The SUV hasn’t stopped for hours but it finally does. A opens the back gate and he smiles at us both, “Anyone need a potty break?” He asks in baby talk. I stop my eyes from rolling and 2010 nods, “I do, sir.” A nods and 2010 comes closer to him and he unlocks his collar.

Colt Age 24 I made my way to our seats. Alicia was with me tonight. I haven't seen her in so long. When she found out I was coming to this side of the country, she couldn't resist meeting me here. It felt good seeing her. While we talked on the phone weekly, our lives had gone in separate directions. I had gotten us both seats up in the nosebleed section. I didn't want her to see me, just like any other time I went to her games. I had on a hoodie and also a hat.

I haven’t given it much thought but it doesn’t seem like a bad idea. “That’s great.” He said simply. “You’ll both get to understand the company more.” He added. From the little conversation we had while having dinner I finally realized where I had seen Colt. He is a famous athlete far west and happens to be Aleric's sister's son— it makes sense why he isn’t a Voss. “It was nice having dinner with you again.” Colt said as we all finished off our food and we made our way out. “I guess we’ll keep in touch.” Colt added and I gave a short nod. With that he got into his car and drove off.

Jed whispered, his voice shaking slightly as he dropped his drink. Colt kept his eyes glued to his phone screen, completely oblivious to the massive shift in the room's energy. “Man, forget the weather, look at this comment,” Colt laughed, his thumb scrolling down the page. “Someone said they saw Raine behind the human grocery store last week taking three rogues at once.”

God knows how Ethan is going to track this thing, even though Connor reckon that there might be more than one. So this is a gamble, and the cards are not in our favor.
