Braxton said, disbelieving of what was probably the truth.

Looks like the list of people I've got to kill just got longer," Gunnar held me in place with one arm, hand gripping my chin so my focus would be on Braxton, "If you close your eyes, little one, you're not going to like the consequences," he ordered into my ear, warm breath skating across the surface of my skin. Gunnar pulled out a Glock that was tucked into his waistband, aiming it at Braxton.
I watched in mind-numbing fear as he removed the safety, "Gunnar, you don't have to kill him. He's my cousin, please let him go." I pleaded, unable to tear my eyes away.
