So much so, he had me wearing a ball cap. Cherry Carmex to battle the arid weather, a few toiletries I was almost out of, a package of Dove dark chocolate, playing cards, a new book, restocking of wound care, a box of Fruit Loops, a couple bottles of green tea, and a case of water. All logical and nothing out of the ordinary. Then I topped it off with a stuffed animal. Still, he did nothing.

He moves it back to where it was and he leans back on his chair. "I booked an appointment for the two of us, we have to take care of those nails and hair," He says and a smile appears on my face. "Are you done? So we can leave?" He ask and I nod. He grabs my purse and phone before we head out of my office. Truly, he booked a couple care package. It consisted of a full on massage and nail treatment. They give us robes after the deep tissue massage. We moved to the same place we entered when we were coming in.

“Nothing about you is embarrassing. You’re mine. That means I take care of you. Period.” And then he was gone before I could argue. I lay back, my heart was racing, feeling shy but… warm. Nobody had ever done something like this for me. When Kyle returned, his arms were full: bags stuffed with tampons, heating pads, painkillers, chocolate, even fancy bottled water. I almost laughed. “You bought the whole store,” I teased, sitting up. “Better too much than not enough.” He shrugged, tossing everything on the bed. “Thank you,” I whispered. My voice sounded small.

I pulled away. “I know. I apologize. I just…I needed this.” I must have sounded foolish, but I didn’t even care. “Don’t mention it,” she said. “I’m glad I could provide you some sort of comfort-no matter how short-lived it may be,” Harlyn added; even she seemed to realize that something scary was on the horizon. “As I know, those donuts do not stand a chance of lasting the night in your presence.” Oh, guess not.

This guy is showing her some other side of him . She suddenly remembered the package and ran downstairs . A man was delivering a blue box wrapped with a cute peach ribbon to Charles and he was signing . Charles walked up to her , all smiles and she had no choice no option but to smile back . His smile was contagious . "A package came for you miss Mera right ? " Charles asked and held out the box . Even the box and the package look so good .

“Ehm, Patricia? Do me a favour and tell them to wait at the lounge. Thanks.” I disconnected the line. My whole damn body was fighting tooth and nail to stay awake. “Fucking hell— can’t I just go back home already?” I stretched my neck and took a bottle of icy water from the mini fridge. An appreciation gift I got from Delcon Firm two months ago. They were a group of charity people. I received an email— likewise a package. The note said that they loved my ‘Attend to your HEART’ seminar. I scrolled through my phone, checking the time. “Six hours. Only six hours left then i’m fucking home to my Cupcake.”

I gasp, mortified that I have neglected my pack for so long. “You’re an Alpha with a heart. The pack understands, baby. They have been dropping off cooked meals to be frozen for you. I’ve had to send some to the kitchen. We have enough meat pies and peach cobblers to last a month,” she tells me, making me smile. My pack had thought enough about me and my mate, to cook for us. They care about us, and I care about them. “I will shower and go to thank them,” I tell her. “You will go to shower and then I have something planned for you. The pack set it up a few days ago,” she says smiling.
