Comic Book Themed Yearbook Novels & Stories

I turned around and answered, "I did." Julian nodded. "I've also arranged for someone to hire people to promote your work. Your marketing team should be ready in about a week." "Then..." I said as I got up and walked over to Julian. "Can we make some merchandise based on my comics?" Julian had no knowledge of this field, so he asked, confused, "What do you mean by merchandise?" "It's when we use the characters from my comics to make things like stickers, keychains, and so on," I explained.

“Hm, I like to read comics but that does not mean I like to come to events nor hate it. I've never even tried to go there or find it around.” But for the bookstore Bazaar it is another story, Debbie was deliberately looking for and came directly to hunt for discount comics. “At the end of the year in the town hall there is always a Japanese culture festival. You've never been here, have you?” The event that Alfred mentioned is the closing event of each year held by the official city government. The foreign cultural introduction event includes various activities, including culinary specialties, cosplay competitions, comics bazaars and so on. “No, but I had heard about it." Debbie replied indi

I need to understand what that place really is. I keep looking around until a book catches my eye—a yearbook. The book gives off this special feeling. I grab a stool, standing on it until I finally reach it. I pull it down and carry it to a nearby table, taking a seat as I blow on it, coughing from the dust. My hands tremble slightly as I flip it open. Page after page of old students stare back at me, all smiling. Achievements, honors, trophies—they're all there, posted with pride.

Placing a finger on the plastic-covered sheet, I caress her image, wishing she were alive to see me now. “This is our yearbook. Not the silly one that the school puts out, but the real yearbook. The Legacy Book.” “So everyone in this book is a Legacy?” I look at the other images on the page. There are newspaper articles and awards, as well as images from special events. My mother was a debate team champion and excelled at horseback riding. “Yes,” he confirms. "And these books go back generations. This is only one volume. There are dozens of others. I can show them to you if you’d like. We keep them in the Legacy library."

Like somehow I just jumped into the future. My mind is screaming at me that something is wrong. Other than the year, and the plastic animals, I can't figure out what it is. I look through the yearbook and I find a picture of Derek in the senior section. He looked just as handsome back then. I flip through the yearbook some more, reading some of the messages left from his friends.

Julia answered and closed her locker. "That's because!" Shane wanted to speak but all he did was snort. I suddenly thought of something he said about the yearbook. "They keep a yearbook here?" I asked, Shane suddenly looked at me. "Yes, it's here every year. It's collected by course. For example, business year book, Architecture year book, Tourism year book and so on. We'll do the same." they explained to me. "There is a copy of each batch in the Library, there is a reserved book shelf there. In case you are not allowed to take the picture, I have every intention of taking AJ's picture!" Shane growled again. until we broke up, I still kept thinking about it even though I was at work.

None of them look at me like I’m some misplaced extra who wandered into their story. If I’m new here, if I wasn’t written into their lives until now, shouldn’t someone notice? After the first three periods, I locate the library, not exactly sure of what I'm looking for. It looks like something made from a book. Well this is a book. Rows of shelves holding up books — history, mythology, and school records stacked behind glass cabinets. My heartbeat quickens. I open the cabinet and withdraw the student's yearbook. The smell of old books linger in the air as I open the yearbook.

Coco was happy to see that the school had a comic club now. Inside the comic club booth, comic-related items were being showcased, including comics created by students and a selection of comic books for sale. Among them, Coco spotted her own comics. "Interested in buying a comic book?" a friendly girl greeted her, picking up the comic book that Coco was looking at. "The author of this comic is an alumni of our comic club. Amazing, right? She's incredibly talented and has published numerous comics, one of which has even been adapted into a TV show."

Not reaching for other diaries or notebooks, i went straight for the year book i was here for. The senior batch of 2014 stared back at me from the front cover of the year book. I looked at myself. Eighteen year old Lucy Chaw wore the fakest smile i have ever seen and stood between old friends wearing the cheerleader outfit. The entire students of the batch stood behind the football players and the cheerleaders in the large gym room. I remembered we took this picture a week before prom and everyone was in the excitement spirit to finish call and get ready for the dance.

Already this weekend has been a big mishap that I have had the misfortune of knowing. My eyes cry as my mother shuts the tv off. The last thing I see on the screen is my face covered in flour with the caption reading "Is Bullying on the Rise at Ashmore High?" Well, no shit, it is. It has been there from the dawn of time. Anyone who knows the school library, as well as I do, would know that yearbooks are evidence of the year-to-year mockery predating back to the Great War, World War II. There are photos defiled with comments like "Go to hell and die."
