I turned around and answered, "I did." Julian nodded. "I've also arranged for someone to hire people to promote your work. Your marketing team should be ready in about a week." "Then..." I said as I got up and walked over to Julian. "Can we make some merchandise based on my comics?" Julian had no knowledge of this field, so he asked, confused, "What do you mean by merchandise?" "It's when we use the characters from my comics to make things like stickers, keychains, and so on," I explained.

She could not just start a new comic. It was too much work. She would have to decide the plot and then the script. There was even the storyboarding element. She may be bored, but she did not want to force herself into doing something so demanding.

"Then recommend me any of the good comics you've drawn." "Uhm..there's one romance comic called Fireflies. But it's a bit long and the plot is more like that of a manga's."

Monday after lunch of the second week, we got into comic books again when a junior girl was trying to make a Black Widow logo/belt buckle. Wendy, I, and most of the campers in the hut got into a spirited discussion of how it should look. It was fun in general, and particularly so because Wendy kept bending over the table to sketch her arguments out. When the period was over, I asked her enthusiastically, "So, do you like comic books in general or just Batman and Superman?"

With a safe and secure environment, I am able to be at ease and worked all day in the drawing room. However, after being cooped up for five whole days, my inspiration was cut off. This was a familiar process for me whenever I was making comics. I would be in drawing mode for three to five days, then after spending twelve hours a day drawing, my imagination and my drive to draw would be empty like a dry well. For me to get back into drawing again, I need some fresh air, new surroundings, and new models. Since it was a sci-fi comic, it would be good to visit places such as planetariums, research parks, and interesting places that could give me some ideas.

Brainstorming ideas.” We all digest that idea for a moment. “That’s not half bad,” Reese allows. “We can’t write a graphic novel if we don’t have a title,” Aiden says. And maybe in the end I'll succeed. The ideas have never stopped flowing, and amidst the difficulties, I've gathered them together to tell even more stories. I have a notebook full of ideas, story segments just waiting for the right piece to fit into. I've conceived many new universes. I have a love story planned that I hope will make your heart skip a beat, between two young people wounded by the world. A horror story that I hope will take your breath away, with its demons. A fantasy that I hope will transport you to a world of mysterious creatures and strange rites.

Aidan was obsessed with the Japanese comics, especially with “King of Thieves.” He was so obsessed that in his home, he had a special room, in which he had collected all the comics and posters. Not only that, outside the room he had written in golden words: “I want to be like ‘The King of Thieves.’ In short, he was quite crazy about the comics.
