Can I have my phone back?

Can I have my phone back?

~ALEXIS~ "God I hate him." I shouted out and Saffron laughed. She handed me the sandwich she just prepared and I collected it, murmuring a thank you to her. I had just left detention about 30 minutes ago and I decided to go straight to her house. My mouthed would kill me if she figured I got detained. So Saffron as a good friend she was, covered for me, although I doubted it would last. "Doesn't change the fact he's cute." She wiggles her brows and I frowned at her.

Begin Again

Begin Again

It wasn't the time or the place, but Eden gawked at the light smattering of hairs on his forearms, gulping at the memory of how good his hands had felt around her when he held her and kissed her in the elevator in Linda's office not too long ago. "Ms McBride?" Gibby snapped her back to reality, the all too familiar look of disapproval on her face as she shook her head. "I'm on it," Eden said. "I'm sending her a text right now to check if she's available." Without waiting for her response, not that she needed it really, Eden turned on her phone to send an urgent life-saving text, and she said a small prayer of thanks when she saw her friend's online. St Eden: Code Red. Take down the site. I r

Almost one of the best. Hence, totally agreed to one of the reviewers chapters leading to the end of the novel less interesting perhaps too much effort in making some catastrophe to the story to put some twist. could have made more effort in making the end not to subtle or too obvious.

Val Sims is one of my favorites. Begin Again is the first of her novels that I read and I loved it so much, I had to read all her other works and I love them also. I hope she continues to write because she tells a good story and her characters are believable.

Now, The Alpha Wants Me Back

Now, The Alpha Wants Me Back

Stepping into a ring with him meant stepping into a grave. But Ryan had no intention of fighting fair. Walking over to a hidden wall safe behind a large oil painting, Ryan punched in a quick numerical code. The heavy steel door clicked open. He reached inside, bypassing stacks of emergency cash and silver weapons. His fingers closed around a sleek, encrypted satellite phone. Sitting back down at his desk, he powered the device on.

ONE LAST TEXT

ONE LAST TEXT

"That's basically what started this whole mess, remember. The text you weren't supposed to see." "I remember." Something soft crossed his face. "I read it probably fifty times before I ever showed up at your door. I told myself I was just trying to understand what happened, but really I think I just wanted an excuse to read it again." "That's embarrassing for both of us." "Extremely." He smiled, and this time it reached all the way to his eyes, and for a moment the six months between us felt thinner than it had in ages, felt almost bridgeable, felt like something we might actually find our way back across if we were both brave enough to keep walking toward each other instead of away.

Running Back To You

Running Back To You

Isaac spoke sternly as if he was ordering and demanding her. "Guess what? No. I already have a job so your offer means nothing to me." Kathilyn scoffed. "I'll pay you more than your job could." Isaac offered. "No, I still don't want anything to do with you." Kathilyn was still being stubborn and walked away. Isaac only stood there with a heavy sigh, watching her walk away. He also turned around to leave too. When she got home, she received a text. She looked at the screen, Benjamin's name showed up saying 'did you get home safe?'

POV Ruby Trigger Warning talk and illustration of abuse I can't believe that this is happening! How did he know that we were here?! A million thoughts raced through my brain as everyone turned to look at me. I looked at Mac and Scarlett and they nodded. Cassy leaned in and rubbed my back. I looked down and sighed with relief to see a new text from Cerise in response to the one I had just sent her.

Returned

I just didn't know what it was. Entering my bedroom I closed the door and headed to quickly shower and soon after I heard my phone beep with a text message " whoever this is you will definitely not be seeing me any time soon " Katrina texted back. I laughed at her message " she has no idea who she is dealing with " Wyatt said growling. " No she does not " I said to him with a smirk on my face and with that I did not reply to the message . Instead I turned over in my bed and the day work washed over me into sleep.

“Text me the date as soon as you know it, so I can book your flight.” “Jay, I don’t want you to—” He raised one finger between them, eyes always on the traffic, and it was enough to cut her off. “If that helps your pride stomach it, think of it as a birthday present.” “You don’t do birthday presents.” “That’s why it’s coming in January.” “Okay, I’ll tell you by the end of next week tops.” “Good.” Silvia was surprised to feel her phone buzz and took it out, hoping nothing had happened to her siblings. She gaped down at it as she read the text.

booths and he hopes to see us soon. "I’m sorry, Christine, but I have to get something. I’ll be right back, and if I’m not, then I’ll text you," I apologize and get up. The only way to get to the VIP section is by walking through the dance floor. Maybe I can find Calvin halfway through. As I try walking through the moving sweaty bodies my phone vibrates, and a text popped up. ’Hey Christine and Jessica, I’ve decided to leave the club because I bumped into an old friend. Sorry guys.’
