Icy twins and hot actors

Icy twins and hot actors

"She wasn't supposed to look ... cheap ... she was supposed to look ..." "Stop Tom or you'll get us disqualified". Luca cuts him off. Tom breathes in, then it seems like he gets an epiphany and he points at me, grinning like he is pleased with himself. I wonder what that is supposed to mean. "Oh got it". Luca grins. "Pretty woman ... obviously". Tom makes a whooping sound and runs over to high five Luca, who is grinning like a loon now. I look at Lumi. "Did those two just compare me to a prostitute ... and they are all proud about it too ?"

Til Death Do Us Part

Til Death Do Us Part

“So, did you enjoy your vacation?” Tom seems oblivious to the impending newcomer glaring his way and my obvious discomfort and need to escape. My heart is doing the rhumba because Jyeon looks exactly like a guy who will not be polite and idly walk by. “It wasn’t really that kind of vacation…. I need to get the shack opened and changed. It’s nice to see you again, have a good day.” I make to hightail it away from him, aware Jyeon is less than ten feet from us and rapidly closing, when Tom catches him out of the corner of his eye, and his entire expression stiffens. He inclines his head, recognition spreading across his face, and adopts a similar unfriendly frown to my idiot man.

The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker

The Alpha Kings’ Curse Breaker

“But not for long. They said they’ll be back if they don’t find their so-called mate. Told us to tell them the moment we see her.” “Idiots. They’re playing right into my hands.” I snorted. “Maybe” Liam said, crossing his arms. “But their desperation isn’t going to make this easy.” “You know, it’s weird.” Tom leaned back his gaze drifting to the stars. “What is?” I asked though I already regretted engaging. “Watching you around Gianna.” “What about it?” I stiffened, my jaw tightening. “You’re ruthless and cruel” Liam said bluntly, his sharp eyes boring into mine. “Callous even. The way you talk to her the way you act. It’s like you want to crush her.”

Tell No One

Tell No One

"We're not fighting. He had plans with his friends before school." "Speaking of friends. How are they? Tate and the others." Bethany was eager to know. "They're funny and nice. Not exactly what you would expect." "Could you introduce us t-" "Gosh Bethany. Why would you want to do that?" Jody started. Why isn't anyone seeing what she's seeing? "Let's be honest. You guys are both completely and totally different. You barely go out, he goes out a lot. You don't really talk to anyone. Look at him, I'm sure he says more than you do at lunch." All eyes were on Tom. He was smiling and talking. "How is this going to last?" Good one Jody.

Married to the Gangster

Married to the Gangster

I sighed and pursed my lips in a thin line—trying my hardest to no spat something that could anger my mother. Okay, so, she knows his family. And because of that, she thinks that he’s a person with a good morale. Morale. Big word. When I think about how he looked like someone who would kill everyone on his way, I almost get chills. It makes me think about all the gangsters I’ve seen…only, he’s worse. He’s more ruthless. He’s more imposing. I don’t know. Maybe, that’s why I can’t stand his presence. Maybe, that’s the reason why I keep saying that he’s cocky.

His Possession {The Bad Boy Love}

His Possession {The Bad Boy Love}

**“Our project is on *The Great Gatsby* by F. Scott Fitzgerald.” Damien continued smoothly, **“It’s a story about ambition, love, and the consequences of chasing an unattainable dream.”** They alternated presenting, seamlessly covering the symbolism of the green light, the tragedy of Jay Gatsby’s obsession with Daisy, and the novel’s commentary on the American Dream. **“Gatsby represents longing for a perfect future while being trapped by his past,”** Elie’s explained. **“His love for Daisy blinded him to reality, leading to his downfall.”**

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

The CEO'S Forgotten Promise

“You think I print cash in my sleep? Tom’s been watching every transaction like a hawk these days. One wrong move and he’ll start asking questions I can’t afford to answer.” She paced across the thick carpet, her heels sinking silently. Jax had been useful once...willing to do the dirty work no one else would touch....but his demands were growing as reckless as his gambling habits. Still, the ugly truth bound them together. He knew about the affairs she’d buried, the lies she’d spun to stay close to Tom, and she knew exactly where all his bodies were buried too. Mutual destruction was a powerful leash.

I haven’t read this book yet. I liked the plot but skeptical to start as this book is not completed. I added this to my library and when it’s complete I will read as I am having a bad experience with a book where writer is just dragging the story with chapters which are just few pages in length
LaTonya Veasley
I’ve added to my library but refuse to read any book that is not completed. Very frustrated with updated chapters and unfortunately a few books over 600 chapters still not ending and updated chapters were just fluff. Once this is completed, will gladly read.

CHASING HIS CONTRACT WIFE

CHASING HIS CONTRACT WIFE

he said and sat up on the beach bed he was sitting on. Tom was a man in his late fifties with a not-so-big stomach but slightly still fit with a good body physique, his beards and hair all grey with light green eyes that yearned for young women. Jane was a woman in her late thirties, with brown eyes, poised and confident with every word, walk and body movement. Endowed with smooth skin, long and wavy brunette hair, plump bosoms and a nice body shape. Jane was Tom’s mistress at first but then he married her into the Garner’s family as his wife shortly after his first wife died of an illness and depression. Jane is twenty years younger than her husband, Tom.

Stuck between Hockey Player and his Quarterback Brother

Stuck between Hockey Player and his Quarterback Brother

"You can't just pretend the hurt didn't happen. Gatsby was in love with a memory, Tamine. He wasn't in love with the real Daisy. The real Daisy was messy, and selfish, and careless. She liked shiny things. She liked the security of Tom's old money. Gatsby built an entire empire for a ghost." He reached across the table, his long fingers lightly brushing the edge of my open notebook. The casual contact sent a jolt of electricity up my arm. "I don't want a memory," Evans murmured, his gaze dropping to my lips before slowly rising back to meet my eyes.

Forced to Be a Homewrecker

Forced to Be a Homewrecker

"Who the hell are you? Why are you picking on Zora? Do you know where you are right now? And you still have the guts to mess with Zora?" Tom's expression darkened, and then he suddenly burst out laughing. "Zora… I wondered why you left me so abruptly. Looks like you've found yourself a new guy!" He looked Sun up and down, making a pointed remark, "So you've moved on so quickly. You really ended up with a pretty boy to take care of you. How did you fall so low?" He thought those words would make me angry, but he was wrong. I was different from him. Weak people throw tantrums, but I had self-control.
