I could feel the excitement and the fear radiating through the bond with Nova. “Ready?” she asked. I nod in agreement, too wired to speak. I can feel adrenaline starting to flood my system and I don’t know if the sensation is mine or coming from her. The bond is a strange thing sometimes. You don’t always know your own emotions. It doesn’t take long for everyone to take their positions and then Alex gives the go order.

he growls, a vein pulsing on his forehead with rage. I don’t argue. I don’t respond. I lower my gaze and keep typing, using the calculator, writing in my draft. Not a single word. The door knocks again. Sam doesn’t even answer; the sound makes him jump in his chair. “Mr. Hill! I have an important client. Do you want to see him?” Miranda asks from the doorway. Sam sighs and tells her to let him in. The air tightens. Invisible sparks of jealousy begin to fill the room.

Jarren muttered. “So, that means you can’t get it until Jillie goes into labor, right?” Kaileeh asked from the computer. “Right,” Christen responded. “Is there a way that we can store it? Maybe we could lengthen its life expectantly,” Mina inquired. Christen shook his head. “There’s nothing. You’re on a timer once it comes out of the ground.” “How long will it take to get there?” Xander questioned. “A little over an hour from where I have to drop you.”

I almost let out a chuckle but hold it in so she doesn't get offended. She paces back and forth looking around at her surroundings. She then looks up and my eyes follow her gaze. It was Cage. I instantly shift. Howling forcing my entire aura off on to him. Every ounce of hatred came out. I mindlinked Jordie," Cage is here Four miles to you're east, Silver creek. Get here now."

"Cant you mind link them to check?" "No son, rogues don't have connections with other rogues, only their families and mates" "Hmmm, well in case its a trap I think we should check before we declare ourselves" Mitch nods and I turn to the others "Right you lot stay down, me and Mitch are going to check it out" "I'm coming," Deser says "no you bloody ain't your gonna stay where I know you're safe". "But" Desert starts indignantly but I cut her off saying to Acre

She added before leaving with Ashley and her sister. And that brings me to how I got here. There's a really good reason why I don't any kind of social media in my cell phone. I'm anti social media and some might call it a bold claim but I can back it up, I don't have I*******m, Twitter, YouTube and even g****e on my phone. Call me weird but it's for my mental health.

I asked as I looked around. Graves my Dad's Beta and Boris the Gamma were there along with Dolph, Nik, Theo and one of our trackers named Tom. "Tom just got back from following those girls today. He wants to tell us about it." Dolph replied and I furrowed my brow. "Why didn't he just link us?" I demanded and Tom sighed. "I can't. I've been trying for hours. I can't even shift right now" Tom answered and I looked at him in surprise.

He said kissing me on forehead “ You mentioned going and seeing Markus earlier. Why?” “ I just have a feeling something is wrong.” I said looking down at my hands “ what do you..” Before he could finish, Markus was flinging the door open. “ I’m so sorry sir, but there’s been a breach in the security system. I think someone has tried to hack into our system and shut it down. We were down for two minutes.” Luca jumped up from the couch practically throwing me to the side and rushed out of the door.
