Colt Age twenty-one Finley and I lay in her backyard most of the night. She never questioned where Konner was, and I was really happy about that because I wasn't going to lie to her. He was off sleeping with one of the girls that had just graduated. They had a thing off and on for a while now. I kept telling him to be careful because that was going to get him in trouble, but he was in love with her or so he says. She was on the team with Finley, but I know they weren't that close or not at all. He would hook up with her every time we came home.

"Hey, little man." "Little? You know I could kick your butt," Conner says, chuckling. He just finished his freshman year of football and he's gotten big. Which is no surprise considering how large his dad is. But, he put in a lot of work in the gym before school every day and kicked butt on the field.

Evelyn's POV "I, Alpha Kyle Turner, reject you, Evelyn Sanders, as my mate." Alpha Kyle hoarse voice boomed in my ears making me freeze on my tracks, his voice laced with disgust. Crack! A cracking sound resounded inside my body and I felt as if a part of me was forcefully torn and taken away. My wolf howled in pain but there was nothing I could do about it. Tears flowed down my face as the pain became immeasurable, increasing with each second to the point I was unable to tolerate it. I could care less about the gazes on me. I was already used to it.

I cursed my frozen body and chattering teeth for making the statement a shit ton weaker than I’d intended, but Connor’s look told me he got it. “Ya doona mean that, Bailey. We’re destined ta be tagether. I’m a man, and these lasses like Jess are just something I have ta get outta ma system before we settle down, and then it’s just us. I swear it ta ya, lass.”

And Debby was a minor so it’d have less effect. “Not to add that she isn’t even in the country now, and the person she sent had been released by Damien. I think it’s best to fight this out without the media. Illegally.” Connor said. The door to his right opened and Arya walked out, pulling a bag of supplies. Connor frowned, remembering how Debby tried killing her. “I don’t think she should know this.” After successfully taking her bag to the door, Arya turned and frowned on seeing Connor. “You’ve been there watching me pull. Why didn’t you offer a helping hand?”

RYLIE "Rylie," a voice says from behind. I turn, already knowing who I will see. Conner. Hunter's right hand man. His best beta. The lacky who does his dirty work. "What do you want, Conner?" I demand. I am so not in the mood for him. Not after sending Val off with the break up letter for Patrick. Though, to be honest, I am never in the mood for Conner. He strides up alongside me. Full on pounding like they were trying to wake the whole floor. I groaned, rolled over, stumbled to the door in my underwear. Peered through the peephole. Connor. Fuck. He was the guy who carried the vibe on the team, always laughing loudest, always ready with a dumb one liner. Right now

Reana said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "His name is Kayler. He's the commander of the werewolf territory defense team in Montana. And Kayler is also Harem's nephew." Henry pov. For quite a while, I haven't laid eyes on Sierra, and my concern has been growing, not knowing if she's doing okay. The uncertainty about William troubles me deeply; I can't fathom what might be wrong with him, and at times, I feel this urge to confront him. Sierra, I know, is going through a tough time, and witnessing her treated as if she's nobody pains me as well. Hiding behind the woods, I fixate on William Castle, surrounded by an eerie silence that perplexes me.
