Looking around the room, I ask Hecate, “Do we seriously have to do this here?” My best friend rolls her eyes at me, as she lights the frankincense and cedar incense. We are standing in a freaking cave deep under the peaks of Mt. Olympus. It’s cold and dark and damp and somehow humid all at the same time. And it’s creepy as all hell. I know that’s a weird thing for a powerful goddess to say, but the caves under Mt. Olympus aren’t filled with the creepy crawlies from the human world. These things hold baby hydras, manticores, gorgons, and other nasties.

I've followed Bryant's books mainly through her werewolf stories, which are amazing, but I am obsessed with the Destroyer - the details about Greek Mythology remind me of my Granny reading to me as a child. Expertly written as always, love the humanity of the characters. Regularly updated as well.

So in love with this sweet romance. At chapter 47 we are about to a simmer, I have a feeling by chapter 55 there will be a full boil going between these two. Bryant delivers two unforgettable main characters and easily layers in many others so that we get to know the whole cast without confusion.

The lost Goddess and her mysterious Alpha

The lost Goddess and her mysterious Alpha

Fate sure worked in mysterious ways… Holding a bolt of thunder in his hand, Zeus stood proudly with his long golden locks flying in the wind. His electric blue eyes were narrowed fiercely at the Titans and the demons. Near him stood the other Olympian Gods including Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Artemis, Ares, Hermes, Dionysus, Hades and Persephone. The Titans who joined the Olympians after the imprisonment of Cronus including Mnemosyne stood with the Olympians. Other minor Gods and deities also surrounded them as we all stood waiting for the war to begin.

SATOU, D.
This is interesting. I gave it 10. Because I like the story. Even I'm not into female lead yet I found it interesting. What is the goddess Artemis leads to? Just from reading the synopsis it tickles the surprises! Thank you for sharing this. Imma recommend this to my other friends.

Bit of a long winded read, lots of filler sentences, only at chapter 15 and already changed from a wolf to a tiger, either needs to re-edit the book and fix mistakes or remove from warewolf genre not worth the money spent so far, but will give it couple more chapters to see where it goes

Master of Justice, Slave to Desire

Aliana’s POV “You’re little--- what now?!” I gaped up at him, wondering if I’d heard him correctly. Sure, I knew in theory what a Muse was – if I didn’t, my father would be thoroughly disappointed in me. I mean more than he already was… In Greek mythology, the Muses were the nine goddesses of the arts, literature, and sciences. They were the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, aka Memory. Zeus, of course, was the ruler of all the gods on Mount Olympus, the God of the Sky and Thunder.

The Pinnacle of Life

The Pinnacle of Life

Soraya said, “Everyone’s guessing that Mount Oro and Mount Olympus are nearly identical, but you’re saying that they’re called the Olympus Tribe? Doesn’t that make them the same?” “The ancient Greek Mythologies… Could it be that they’re actually real? Zeus, the sun god, the moon goddess, Athena... they all truly existed. I’m... speechless. If these powerful gods came, we normal humans wouldn’t have the strength to fight back.” Everyone was sad. The humans didn’t die at the hands of the Undying Clan during ancient times, but they were now going to be destroyed by traitors. Just then, Zendaya said, “Don’t worry. The god of the Olympus Tribe can’t come here yet.”

i thought he'd be successful going and dominating the chi universe after obtaining the fiend lord's memories and start story with Zendaya... it would have been better if the diffracted universe had not been destroyed and he finally gets to live a peaceful life after all these........ But I loved it.

I mean, the core is obviously drawn from the major myths, but what a lot of people overlook is how much it leans into the weirder, more obscure corners of Hesiod's 'Theogony'. Sure, you've got Zeus and Hera and all the usual suspects on Mount Olympus, but the plot really gets going with stuff like the primordial deities, the Titanomachy in way more brutal detail than most retellings, and a deep dive into the succession myths. It doesn't just name-drop characters; it builds a whole political system around divine lineage and power struggles that feels shockingly bureaucratic and cutthroat, which honestly might be the most accurate part. The author clearly did their homework beyond just the popular Percy Jackson-level stories.

Where it really diverges, though, is in the protagonist's personal journey, which is a complete invention. The book follows a lesser-known nymph's child navigating this pre-established, terrifyingly rigid pantheon, and that's where the modern novel structure takes over. The mythology provides the setting and rules, but the central conflict about forging an identity outside of divine prophecy is a contemporary character study grafted onto the ancient framework. I've seen some classicists grumble about the liberties taken with certain timelines or relationships, but for a fiction book aiming to feel epic and fresh, those changes work.

Honestly, the melding is what makes it stand out. You get the sense of scale and fatalism from the myths, but with the emotional interiority that ancient texts obviously lack. It's less a straight adaptation and more like using the original mythology as a very detailed, very high-stakes sandbox to tell a new story.
