"But enough about my crush; I've been cooking all day and I'm starving. Let's eat!" I smiled, and we talked about mundane things while we ate. Work, family, the weather. He told me all about how a bunch of people had come in looking for items to reduce the fire danger around the town. I had noticed the same at the grocery store. Every time we ran out of things to talk about, I seemed to be drawn to his eyes. We sat in a comfortable silence for minutes at a time. Finally, the subject of our friends had come up. "I just don't know what to do," I said. "We promised."

Talking and spending time with friends is one of the best experiences there is, but it only applies to those you have a good relationship with. You see, one of our former friend named Felix is about to show up here in a few minutes, and me and my friends still don’t fucking know how to act. And if you were wondering, yes, it’s just me and my friends because we really can’t let Amelia get into this mess, and I’m afraid my mom would ask me questions as to why we were both always together.

With a shrug, Christopher added, "Marriage, Pregnancy, caring for children." "Yeah, so before... during our drinkings, we talk about sports and other manly stuff," Cole said before chuckling. "We can't talk about that since we are already married." Apart from this we talked about what else was happening in our lives for more than two hours. In the evening I met my friends Isha and Yashvi in the campus garden. I talked to them about my friendship with Aarav. Again I heard the same dialogue, " Are you sure that you both are only friends?" I don't know what more we can be. We shared talks and at night we ate dinner together in the campus food court. After dinner we fall apart and go to our hostel. At night after talking with my family I watched a movie on my laptop with my roommates and slept after watching the movie.

“Are you trying to get me drunk?” “No,” she says quietly. “In their business culture, real conversations only occur when everybody is sloshed. The next morning all is forgotten on the surface, but the subtext and the friendship is not.” I shake my head and snap back to reality. “Right. Shit. I knew that. Thanks for the reminder.”

I replied, kissing my teeth. "Communication, as close friends, we need to communicate. I'm coming over to your place for a long talk." *****
