Conversation With Friends Novels & Stories

I love the weather, it's good. I went in her direction. I am holding a milk tea in both of my hands. When I was seated next to her, I passed her the other one. Today, we agreed to meet here. Since we are both busy with our lives, even just 20-30 minutes of conversation is fine with us. It's been a long time since Dwight and I last talked in person. We still have communication through social media but only “hi”, “hello” and “good morning”. Sometimes, there’s no message at all, not just one day but one week straight! I am glad that we tried to understand each other's side. The same goes with Ellaine, even though we rarely talk after college, I can still feel the friendship between us. That fe

While basking under the sun at the poolside, Karen and her four friends had a lot to discuss. They had been talking since the morning hours, but it was just that the conversation they were having at that hour was pretty serious. They were digging into the past. They kept asking each other what happened until Karen was always in the wrong. Of course, she told her friends that neither of the things of which she had been accused in the past she had ever done them, but why is it that everyone believed that she had?

They’ve talked for two hours straight, covered a broad range of topics and shared many a laugh. One of the few enjoyable and worthwhile conversations she’s ever had, Rina realizes. It feels like they’re old friends who got out of touch and just found each other again. They haven’t noticed where all the time went. For instance, right now they’re both giggling at something funny Chester has said but she can’t quite remember.

and their granddads. The friendship is long-lasting.. from the centuries. "I booked it just in case..." Christian shrugged his shoulders as if to explain something but he didn't know how to say it. "I know this expression.. you don't even know why you did purchase it. Isn't it, Sire?" Kristopher nodded as if he already knew the answer then he mocked him. The two best friends were chatting like old times but as usual, the topic was.. business. "You have to come with me tomorrow, you know that right?" Christian said to him to which Kristopher just made an awkward boring face.

"That's what friends are for. Sleep well, Nathaniel. We'll talk soon." With a mutual understanding, the two friends ended their video call. Nathaniel was left with a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions, but he couldn't deny that sharing his deepest desires and fears with James had provided him with much-needed clarity and comfort. As he prepared to retire for the night, Nathaniel felt a sense of peace, knowing that he was not alone in navigating this uncharted territory of love and connection.

We did the most intimate things two people can do. But never exchanged more than ten sentences — like the most familiar strangers in the world. The thought of how he'd go for three days straight every time he came to see me was genuinely frightening. I downed my friend's last glass of wine and passed out.

“Just tired. I'm actually try to look good the morning after instead of showing up looking like I rolled out of a dumpster.” Chloe snorted. “Harsh. But true.” We fell back into our usual rhythm, small talks, juicy gossip about who was hooking up with who, complaints about the upcoming midterms, plans for the next weekend. Yeah that's what I'd call Normal. The kind of conversation that reminded me I still had a good friends that stay not because of the money but just true connection even if it felt a little wobbly lately.

“Could I really leave you alone in such a responsible task? Especially since this kind of enthusiasm happens less often than a planetary alignment. So, where shall we go?” “To a club,” I blurted out, and heard a loaded silence over the line. “Wait, am I really talking to Victoria right now? Victoria Lemeshko?” — my friend’s serious, stern voice made me actually smile. “And where’s your usual nagging about tomorrow being a workday and all that?” “Well, we’re not going for long,” I laughed, flopping onto the couch and propping my legs on the armrest. “And I’m not planning to get drunk. I just want a change of scenery.”

Sarah says, scolding Mercedes. Eiana's POV I raised my glass, clinking it together with my friends as we sat at the bar waiting for my best friend, Brooks, to get here. "What is taking him so long? I want to party already!" Shannon says as she took a gulp of her martini, downing it in one go. I chuckled, looking at my phone light up with a notification from Brooks. "Where are you guys? I just got here. This place is overcrowded." He types, making my smile widen.

"Elliot—" "Okay, brother, have a good day. Oh, and let me know if you want me to invest in that tiny business of yours." (I heard he joined a food truck) I smirked. "Might consider it… dumb idea." I whispered the last words as I walked away, just as I heard glass shatter behind me. Alexis and I have been friends for more than five years. She was easily manipulated, which worked to my advantage.
