Savage Love

Savage Love

She thought before opening the door and walking in. The room was as silent as a graveyard so she assumed no one was around. "Thankfully I won't get to see his stony face" She grinned and began heading to the dining table Suddenly she spotted a cockroach approaching her way so she halted. "No.. No.. Don't come near" Coralyn swallowed hard "Get away!! Please, shoo!!" Coralyn swallowed hard but the cockroach kept coming closer. "Get away!" She hit it off with her leg but the leg accidentally hit a jar and the jar crashed on the floor hitting the table and a small vase rolled then crashed on the floor.

The Alpha King’s Surrogate Secret

The Alpha King’s Surrogate Secret

Kaelen roared. His voice cut through the fog, snapping the Southern warriors out of their stupor. They reached for their weapons, their eyes scanning the dark water. Below the surface, a massive, glowing shape began to emerge. It wasn't a fish. It looked like a forest of moving coral, miles long, pulsing with the same sickly violet light that had consumed the woman at the Citadel. "The Coral-Spine is moving," Elara gasped.

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Their glass eyes followed us as we passed, reflections warping in their glossy surfaces. One of them—an off‑white mare with half its face scraped down to bare wood—twisted. Not much. Just a small, jerky swivel of the head, enough that its muzzle tracked us, neck muscles creaking like splintering boards. I stopped dead. “Did that just—” “Yes,” Corvin said. The horse’s jaw cracked open an inch, teeth bared in a rictus grin. A soft giggle—not quite childlike, not quite human—echoed from somewhere around its hooves.

I'M BETTER OFF BEING A VILLAINESS THAN A HEROINE

I'M BETTER OFF BEING A VILLAINESS THAN A HEROINE

she screamed, scrambling backward and almost falling off the mattress. Three tiny creatures stared at her—three mice, standing upright on their hind legs. One wore a tiny blue waistcoat, another a yellow frock, and the third had a pair of miniature spectacles perched on his snout. “Excuse me, young lady,” said the plump one in the blue waistcoat, puffing out his chest indignantly. “We are mice, not rats.” The one in the yellow dress clasped her paws together. “Good heavens, Erella, you’re shaking! Are you still unwell?”

Rex smirked, his blue eyes roaming her ass, wiping his mouth with interest. “You never know, anyway he’s had a mate, he’s fair game for anyone now,” Diane pouted, adjusting her cleavage before strutting past Rex without a care. Coraline shrugged herself into a much plainer black mini dress, her long legs on show, wearing chunky black wedges. "She looks good now but watch her try to skip down the line in stilettos…it's going to be carnage," she said with venom on her tongue.

One More Hot Contract with the Shadow Alpha

One More Hot Contract with the Shadow Alpha

I say, my voice coming out breathier than I intended. Clyde’s eyes track the movement of my lips. His thumb, still resting at the small of my back, begins a slow, rhythmic circle that makes my knees weak. "Maximus is a dog barking at a passing carriage, Coralina. He enjoys the sound of his own fear."

Stranger Shore

Stranger Shore

Iris watched as sunlight caught on what seemed like patches of dew near the grave, reflecting and gleaming and suddenly solidifying, so that what had been light became mist, mist that twisted and thickened and coalesced into the spirit-flesh of three scampering-towards-her mice. Iris's laughter sounded like a shriek as the spirit-mice clambered onto her and raced up and down her arms and neck. They didn't speak, but sent their thoughts into her head, expressing their joy at meeting her. She sent back to them her happiness and hope of lasting companionship. She could already sense in them a child-like love of frolic and mischief. One of them, perhaps more sedate than the others, licked at the

Silas was working patrol this evening. Coraline walked up with her friend, Amber. “Stella!! Come dance with us!!” Coraline yelled over the loud music. Stella looked over at me. I frowned but nodded. “You could come dance with me.” She rattled sarcastically. “I’ll be watching” i told her and she smiled big and climbed over my lap, straddling me for a moment, then hopped out of the booth, taking Coralines hand and skipping off towards the dance floor.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

He didn’t let go. I could feel the spike enter the mouse’s head, strike against the skull, push through to its brain. After five or six direct hits, the mouse went limp. I retreated, breathing hard. The girls were still trying to see straight, most of the dust had gone in their direction. Maurice picked up the fallen spear and walked over to the hole just as the female mouse jumped out screaming, something held aloft in her hand. Instinctively, Maurice thrust the spear forward and sent the tip straight into her open mouth and out the other side. She fell to the floor. The thing in her hand was a rock.

The Day I Kissed An Older Man

asked Anya as she took down the music box from the shelf to show to Corinne. Corinne never liked anything pink or pastel, so without even looking at it, she put the music box back on the shelf after accepting it from Anya's hand. While doing so, she accidentally hit the switch, and the lid of the music box slowly opened as music played. Two little bears held hands and danced in a circle while the soothing music played. The music must have triggered something deep inside of Corinne because her pupils shrank as fragmented memories rushed back into her mind. She grimaced at this. 'Argh, my head hurts…'

I just wish Lucas would quit acting arrogant to Melody and quit having all these women in the closet and not letting Melody know who and why. He expects her to get upset and ask questions when he avoids answering the truth to her! He should put her & her feelings first, not these bratty girls!!!

How many more chapters to go? I'm getting impatient with Lucas' character. Would be nice to bring back all the characters (Corrinne, Jeremy & the other family members) in the last few chapters. Would love for Melody to be introduced to Lucas' mom and Corrinne and get clicked with the others.
