Sin has refused to eat any food, neither has he stepped out of his room, same with Godfather Marcelo. Mykel was currently sitting by Snow's side in the clan's hospital. "Aurelio!!" Snow screamed as she sat up, sweat dripping down her forehead. "Snow, are you okay," Mykel rushed to her and put on her glasses.

Can I help you?” He does not recognize the female voice on the other end of the line but he has to admit, it is a beautiful voice. He would know how to spot a lovely voice, considering her heard random voices all day long.

I had never met a man before who could give me pleasure so intensely, so inhumanely. ​After it was all over, we lay in each other’s arms for a while. The stormy wind outside had calmed down. But when I returned to my apartment by taxi, the trace of excitement faded, and a strange melancholy consumed me. ​As soon as I returned home and closed the door, a piece of white fur rushed to my feet. 'Snow'. My only love, my pampered blue-eyed cat. ​I picked him up. Burying my face in his soft fur, I let out a long sigh. "Mommy had a very big day today, Snow... and she made some serious wrong decisions today," I murmured in a tired voice.

He knew their connection would only intensify after they joined. When he saw Emory and the flock standing in the middle of the Magnolia path surrounded by rogues, his beast growled: a reaction that made him quiver with delight. A burning feral hunger twinkled in Emory’s eyes as she battled one, while Sabine faced two. He watched his mate for a moment, then turned to the rogue whose scent stood out like red on white. “Kael,” Crixus growled next to him. It was Kael, a loyal sentinel who had always served faithfully in the past, and Dante couldn’t understand why he would turn on him now. It made him question why Kael truly left the king’s court.

Despite the salt and pepper grey hair, Connor’s movie star looks make him seem ageless in a way that had me thinking he would have still been just a touch too young to fight in that battle. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to.” He says. “I may have some additional insights that your parents or Leader Bruno don’t, and given how close this guy,” he says, motioning to the deceased human still lying on the ground, “was found to my pack lands, I’d like to be a part of thinking through next steps. Have you contacted COWS yet?”

Alessandro set me down in the center of the room, my legs still quite unsteady. His hands didn't leave my waist even as he stepped back to stare at me. His eyes were dark with desire. "What?" I mouthed as his eyes were raking hungrily over me, somewhat slowly. It was the same deep seated hunger that I had witnessed at the bar two weeks ago. He circled around me like a predator assessing its prey, and I stood frozen, unsure what to do or say. Then he finally came to a stop in front of me, close enough for me to feel the heat radiating from his sexy body.

My legs were twisted, crushed under the weight of the snow. Shawn collapsed as he finally saw my corpse. The tool clattered to the ground. He stared blankly at my corpse as he shook his head vehemently.

KIERAN Snow, that is what I wake up into, not at school but the pain of frostbite. It falls in an endless cycle all about me, no atom of colour, just pure, white snow. It gathers on my lashes, melts against my skin, my feet are bare, and numb, my shoulders hurt too. I look back, and there's blood trailing behind me as I drag my broken body through it. Fighting to move on wards, in my arms is precious cargo, I look down as I see him, blonde hair tangled with frost, my torn jacket acting as a scarf for him, green eyes too bright against his skin, as his lips had gone pale from the cold.

Chapter 4 The Woman in White Elena's POV “Smile, Elena, the press is to your left.” “I am smiling,” I murmured, forcing a smile without looking at Damon. “Not like you’re walking into a funeral.” “Maybe I am actually doing that.” His jaw was already hardened slightly at that, but he didn’t respond. Typical of him. Three days ago, I had made the greatest discovery of my life, that the snow was a lie. Two nights ago, I still lay beside him, my emotions all over the place, while he slept like a man without guilt. Yesterday, he acted so smoothly, like nothing had happened between us.

The other end picked up and I said I need a donor now. My office was only a few blocks away and it took all my willpower to make it there and not suck the life out of some random person on the street. When I made it to my office my donor was waiting for me and I didn’t hesitate and took her in my arms and sunk my teeth right into her flesh, trying to stop the hunger that was taking over inside of me. I drank until I felt the body in my arms losing conscience and knew I had to stop or I was going to kill her but the hunger inside of me wasn’t even remotely satisfied. I pulled away and laid the body onto the floor and made another call for another and a cleanup crew.
