Kanyon turned back to the monster wearing Cory's face. "I'm sorry," he whispered. Then he charged, unleashing everything. He drove Cory back, blow after blow, refusing to relent. Power rippled from Kanyon's claws. Constance screamed from within, her voice shredding the air. Cory staggered, faltering under the pressure. For a moment, just a moment, his eyes flickered.

Kenshi remarked beaming at Yushiro. "I don't like being mocked!" Yushiro grunted. He withdrew his sword and lunges again with more force. They repeated that process over and over again. The sound of their blades echoing and the sparks when those meet, it was magnificent! When Kenshi saw how Yushiro was trying hard while he's just chilling and having fun, he started letting his guard down. He had forgotten that Yushiro is a human from Hikari, sorcery is their top option when they're losing the sword fight.

Cory's voice came out as an agonising plea. I raised a brow at him. "I remember who you are.
