Restless and unfulfilled, I grabbed my smokes and a lighter and headed out to the stairwell for a puff. Just as my hand touched the door to the stairwell, I heard a faint, frantic moaning. At first, I thought it was just a cat in heat. Then, a familiar scent hit me. It was a perfume that immediately made me think of my charming neighbor from next door, Demi Wilson. Every time I ran into her, that sweet, intoxicating scent always arrived first. Then came the flash of a red slip dress or perhaps a bodycon dress, with a neckline plunging incredibly low.

He enters into the building and heads straight for the main bar, not paying attention to the five people situated at different corners. They resumed walking. The night lights were extremely bright and the street was for some reason quite busy. A considerable number of people were wandering around the street and causing a noise, mostly couples. It was because there was a place mainly designed for couples, not at all far away from here and the place operated only at night. Weird, right? "Weird wife." He smiled. "Why would you even ask such a question?" "Is it possible for you to marry someone other than me?" She asked and Fred just had to stop in his tracts again to glare at her.

They came to our door with cookies and questions, nervous and hopeful, the way we'd been when we first arrived. I welcomed them. Helped them carry boxes. Told them about the neighborhood, the park at the end of the street, the bakery where I worked. I did not tell them about the woman who'd lived in their house before. I did not warn them about casseroles or texts or visits at the gate.
