Nadia opened it and took a small sip, her hand was shaking. Adrian noticed as he sat across from her, his elbows resting against his knees. “What happened?” Nadia looked at him. “I know you're probably wondering how I found out you live here.” Adrian raised an eyebrow. “You're my neighbor?” “Yes.” She gave a faint, humorless smile. “I'm right next door. I suppose the division between the buildings is why we've never crossed paths.” Adrian nodded. “I don't have time to explain much.” Nadia glanced at the clock.

Then, as the older girl is yelling, a man in a bathrobe comes running out of the apartment next door, calling out his apologies for his daughter scaring me. The first thing I see is a set of perfect abs, and I have a hard time pulling away from the sight. Wow, what a handsome set of abs. My eyes move up from the abs to the eyes of the tall, tanned man. He looks incredibly relaxed and handsome as he stands in front of me, but it takes me about five seconds longer than it should to put it together. I can’t help but gulp as I set down the girl in my arms. My boss…he’s my neighbor?!

I never expected that fresh start to include the beautiful couple next door and everything they've taught me about pleasure, about desire, about the things I was too afraid to want. But now that I've had a taste of them, I know I'll never be satisfied with anything less. Some neighbors borrow sugar. Mine share absolutely everything.

Candice rolled her eyes and followed Richard into his closet. "So, are you stalking me now, Richard?" Candice asked when he reached her a white shirt. "What?" Richard said and frowned. Candice gestured for him to turn around and quickly pulled the shirt over her head. "Come on; you just happen to move in next door after that night?" She continued, and Richard turned around. "Trust me; this is all a coincidence. I had no idea that you lived here. A close friend is a realtor, and I have been looking for a place like this for a long time. You living next door is just a bonus." Richard replied, and Candice blushed, feeling embarrassed by assuming the worst.

Lisa paused by one of the windows in her living room to catch a glimpse of the ongoing argument that we currently happening on the front porch of the house right beside hers. The building was owned by an elderly couple who were the oldest people in the neighborhood. The both of them had an unusual relationship, the kind that was filed with all sorts of emotions. They always quarreled with each other, but none of their fights ever lasted more than a few hours before they were speaking to each other again like nothing had even happened.

The blonde female near the one that looks like Noah’s brother just glares at me, what the hell is her problem. “Hi guys, this is Tasmine Kelly, my next-door neighbour,” Noah said with a big grin on his face. I can see the boys are thinking while the female has a bitchy look on her face.“No she’s not, Lee is your next-door neighbour.” She snapped at Noah.

However, his expression was icy and unsmiling, and for a second she wished he'd just snap her neck out of anger rather than the perilous calmness and composure he exuded. “Um, I'm Cee, your next-door neighbor.” She introduced herself, flashing a bigger grin than necessary. But the hardness in his gaze only switched to a poker expression that made her skin crawl in dread. Due to the extreme focus she had on his face, she didn't realize when her back slammed against the brick walls of his apartment that the force made her wince. Meanwhile, his height dwarfed her presence as they now stood inches from each other, and she found herself holding her breath.

Kurt sighed, stroking my cheek, tucking the blonde streak of my hair behind my ear. “Have you heard any of our neighbors having sex?” Kurt questioned. “Well, no…” I furrowed my brow. “Exactly. It's not that they aren’t. While most of the residents are unmated, our direct neighbors are a mated couple. And we don’t hear them going at it. But you can bet they are.” Kurt smiled. “Okay, but maybe the soundproofing is just better in the apartment.” I offered. “An apartment building isn’t going to have better anything than the packhouse that the Alpha and Luna live in.” Kurt scoffed. “Then…” I frowned.

"Actually, Octavia, I live here as of today." I looked down at his hands just now, noticing the cardboard carton in his hands, and he simply flashed that signature grin of his. "You know, this is a pretty nice place," he said, gesturing around. "I think I’ll be quite comfortable here." My stomach dropped as the realization hit me: he was moving into the apartment right beside mine. "Wait, are you saying you’re moving in next door?" I asked, my cheeks burning with embarrassment. He nodded, clearly enjoying my flustered state. "Yep, right next to you. Looks like we’re neighbors now." I felt a rush of mixed emotions: excitement, anxiety, and a hint of dread.
