Courier Akudama Drive Novels & Stories

“The chauffeur will take you to the palace. If I hear even a whisper of trouble before the summoning, you’ll wish the Ghoul had finished you first.” He turned on his heel, leaving us with a driver from the Seraphic Shadowmenders Guild. The man dressed in a dark suit didn’t look back; he simply put the car in gear. The drive through Akyaka was a blur of darkened wooden houses and the silver glimmer of the Azmak River through the window. Usually, the sight of the bougainvillea-draped cafes and the slow, rhythmic sway of the reeds would calm me. Tonight, it just felt like a cage moving through a ghost town.

Standing on the threshold is a broad-shouldered Pack Guardian wearing the dark blue leather armor of the Shadow Trackers. Zuberi puffs out his small chest, his eyes narrowing as his little claws partially extend. "Who approaches the Mooncrest Villa? Identify your pack rank, warrior!" The armored messenger blinks, taken aback by the five-year-old pup's aggressive stance. He bows respectfully, holding out a heavy, steel-reinforced chest stamped with the moon-and-dagger seal of the Northern Shadow Network.

The woman behind the desk, middle-aged with thinning grey hair, scurried to the back and appeared a moment later with a brown bag in hand, "Don't touch it." "Wasn't planning on it," Ace grinned menacingly, "thank you." "It always a pleasure helping you, dear," she called as we exited the shop and bid her farewell. "I'll get someone to drive your car home, we can take mine," Ace informed, ushering me toward a black SUV, "you don't mind me stealing you for the day?" "Uhm..." If I wanted to understand Ace better then I would probably have to spend more time with him. I was doing this to pass a class so it wasn't as if I were missing out for a random hook up, "yeah, it's fine."

She thanked that she's still alive after that nightmare from the last night until the daybreak's battle. She clenched her teeth when she was reminded of Thud's face. "I'll get to you soon, Thud. I'll fucking kill you," her hatred for the man grew even more. Now, she understands that destiny led them to find Russ. It looks like he is the father of the fourth guardian of Lights. After several minutes of thinking, Akira's stomach rumbled. She feels hungry but she can't get up and no one is coming to see her. Just when she convinced herself that she's not hungry, the door opened and comes with it is a delicious smell of food.

Drawing power from the moon had actually energized me instead of draining me. We walked back to the pack house in comfortable silence. The forest around us felt peaceful. Safe. I could sense Shadowcrest’s pack bonds, even though I didn’t belong to them yet. The territory itself felt protective. We were almost at the house when Kade’s Beta, Marcus, appeared. He looked tense. “We have a problem,” Marcus said. “A courier from Nightshade just delivered this.” He held up an envelope sealed with the Nightshade crest. Kade took it and read the contents. His jaw tightened.

As soon as Crimson blade finished her mission and jump-off out of the window. Aoi Akuma, who was standing on the branch of the tree, swiftly threw a dagger with attached folded paper on its holder. It penetrated precisely on bed’s wood frame just above Cederick, it almost got his head. Aoi Akuma terrifyingly smiles towards him before he jumps off following Crimson Blade.

With a small blast of fire from his feet, Max initiated a sprint towards Tamashi. “YOU’RE MINE, SPARKY! I’LL END THIS IN ONE BLOW!” Max jumped as he neared Tamashi. As Max fell through the sky, Tamashi reached out his arm. ‘Inazuma no Kabe.’ Max slammed head-first into the wall and bounced off, flying backwards in the direction he came from. As Tamashi released the wall, Max recovered and rose to his feet.

Many pack members gathered nearby as curiosity spread rapidly. The messenger arrived shortly afterward. It was a young warrior from BloodFall's Gamma bloodline. His expression remained completely emotionless. And without wasting a single moment, he bowed respectfully. "Message from Alpha Draven BloodFall." Then he handed over a sealed letter. And the large package strapped behind his horse. Kadel frowned immediately. Something about the package made him uneasy... Very uneasy. The warrior offered no further explanation greetings, discussion or nothing more. The moment the delivery was completed, he mounted his horse again.

Intrigued by this mysterious girl with silver hair and ember eyes, he resolved to get to know her better. Offering her a ride was his way of extending an olive branch, an invitation into his world. At first, Aqua hesitated, politely declining his offer. But as the heavens opened up and rain began to pour down in torrents, her resolve softened, and she accepted. The moment she climbed into his truck, Damon couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. The old Chevy pickup may have seen better days, but to Damon, it was more than just a vehicle—it was a symbol of his roots, a connection to his past. He drove it with pride, a tribute to his uncle, who had passed away. His uncle was the only one

His fingers twitched slightly at his sides, the only betrayal of the storm building within him. “Subject: Deceased. Adrium: Not detected.” The lead drone emitted a short, shrill beep, and the others responded with a synchronized retreat, lifting upward like vultures denied a feast. In seconds, they were gone, vanishing into the smog above the ruins. Tunde exhaled slowly. His eyes flicked to the crate. The shard glowed faintly in the shadows like a heart still beating.
