Sam and Tina were driving to work, making their way through the slow Mumbai traffic. The news was playing on the radio. The last week had been full of information about a virus that had supposedly infected many people in New York. There was no known cure and no idea of how it spread. They had named it KV17, which the media had renamed ‘Killer Virus – 17’. “We all need to be careful. Viruses can get out of control very fast,” said Sam with a furrowed brow.

He was not that tall, he wore a set of boots that gave off an irking feeling. "He must be a wired one" Kazuma inferred, gazing at him with weak eyes. The doctor walked over and started doing the check-up immediately, he noticed that the wound on Kazuma's forehead was almost dried up, it might get infected if not taken care of. There was also a bone fracture on his shoulder, when the doctor told him this, he freaked out, what exactly did he hit anyways? A bon-, he wasn't sure if he wanted to say that word with his mouth. A sudden pain throbbed in his body that made him groan, louder this time.

And i turned my back to face her, drifting me from my dream sequence. "Aal, you need to see something" She said with a worrisome expression and the television remote in her hands and i was left, following her behind. "What's that?" I asked, following the remote in her hands pointed to the television as she raised the volume. "They- A global health emergency. That thing-" She stammered as she looked to me. "That thing- that virus. It's covid and this might be a pandemic" She finally said as i read off the screen.

I sighed. I showed him my IPad and told him I am already done reading the whole file, I take a peek at his and saw that he is reading something about the previous viruses, from the basic and most curable to the deadliest one. He's now reading the information about the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2, it was the virus that left a huge effect in the world thirty years ago. From people's health, economy, and population, it took everyone a while to finally recover from Corona Virus.

I smell through the thin white smoke that comes from the cup, which the scorch earthly smell burnt my nostrils. Hell creepy when out of the blue the light turns off. What do we do?” “Well we only have one choice” Alex replies calmly. Too calmly. I know what he is referring to and it does not sit well with me.
