The Return to Crimson Dawn

The Return to Crimson Dawn

I quite enjoyed the chicken and broccoli. I must have fallen asleep as I pushed the glider as I wake suddenly to the sounds of screaming. I jump to my feet just to fall back onto the glider, apparently I’m prone to vertigo as that’s not the first time that has happened. I hold my breath, straining my ears to hear the faint sounds. It’s difficult to say the least but I do manage to confirm the screams of a young girl coming from inside the woods.

The Crush's Crusher

The Crush's Crusher

I requested before taking in a deep breath and dropping my palms from my face. I could already feel my face start to hurt due to too much crying, my eyes was already throbbing lightly, it obviously doesn't have any chills. "I'm sorry for losting it back then like that, I didn't mean to make you feel bad or anything." I informed him as I pushed myself out of the chair and trying not to sway from side to side when a small wave of dizziness danced before my eyes for a few seconds. "No, it's fine. I'm glad you did." Silas voice drifted into my ears, managing to sooth my fastly beating heart.

There's something magical about Josephine Ivy's writing. It flows, it's like music, jazz to the soul. But even the best writing style can not elevate a bad story. Luckily, her story, characters and plot and their development are equally as magical. She's a writer on my radar.

The first chapter really grabbed my attention, it has something a first chapter should have, which is the main motive of drawing people into the book. I'm curious to see how things turn out between Silas and Fay. Good work Josie.

After the Car Crash

After the Car Crash

“Really, Vivian?” I nodded, “But first, you have to take Sharon away.” “Right away.” Just as he had come, Sharon was dragged into the back seat like a rag. I thought John was joking. But to my surprise, he actually found 99 cars to crash into himself. When his assistant pulled him out from under the race car, he was unrecognizable. His entire body was disfigured, his face ruined, and he was completely disabled. John still tried to contact me but was locked away by his family.

Ashes to Dawn

Ashes to Dawn

Craig said proudly. Lana spoke without looking up. “Craig, if you don’t have work to do, I can find something for you. We love you both together, just not when the sexual tension is still so much.” Craig immediately sat up straighter. “I’m suddenly very busy, thank you very much.” Victoria smirked. “Amazing recovery.” The moment the clock struck 4 o'clock, Craig was the first one to stand up, cracking all the bones in his body. “Finally! I will see you witches tomorrow, hopefully.” He said, stuffing his laptop in his bag and strutting off as he whistled ‘Oh happy day' and occasionally threw a step or two.

Under the Wolf’s Gaze

Under the Wolf’s Gaze

She fell up the inverse bank, scratching her hands and knees on the rocks, but she scarcely jumped, scrambling to her feet and turning around to see what was happening. Brock was caught underneath the heavier body of the dinosaur that had handled him. As she observed in frightfulness, it sank its teeth into his bear. Brock yelled and thundered in outrage and torment and lifted his back legs, kicking the thing off of him and rolling absent. It took a sizable chunk of his substance and muscle with it.

Crash of Hearts

Crash of Hearts

As I stood to leave, Melinda's foot shot out, tripping me. Caught completely off guard, I tumbled to the floor. A glass ornament nearby toppled over, shattering into pieces all around me. Her eyes burned with undisguised malice as she pressed her heel into the back of my hand, driving shards of glass into my palm. The intense pain nearly caused me to lose consciousness. Amidst my agony, Jeffrey's angry voice jolted me back to reality. "Evalyn! How long will you keep up this act? Are you staging this pathetic scene just for money now?"

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

Ben covered his head. "Almost... there..." I gritted my teeth so hard a molar cracked. The crystal wall in front of us started to glow. Fractures appeared in the blue ice, spreading like spiderwebs. "NOW!" I roared. Dad slammed the drill engagement lever. CRASH. The wall didn't just break. It exploded. The massive crystal formation shattered into a billion diamonds, raining down like glitter. The Pangolin surged forward, free. I collapsed backward, Valerius catching me before I hit the driveshaft.

The Alpha’s Mistake: I Married the Wrong Twin

CRACK. A fissure appeared in the pillar. It started at the base and shot upward. It passed right through Kaelen’s frozen prison. The ice split. Water gushed out. Kaelen fell out of the ice. He hit the burning moss. He rolled. He was blue with cold. He wasn't moving. "Get up!" I screamed. I let go. I fell ten feet to the floor. I landed on my good leg and collapsed. I crawled to him. The fire was closing in. The Ancients were circling panicking trapped by the flames.
