At the end of the hallway I noticed an open window. We were on the second floor, I would get hurt to some extent if I jumped but I didn’t let think too much about it. I climbed up the sill. The ground seemed miles away, and my stomach lurched. But I could hear them getting closer, could still feel phantom hands grabbing at me. I jumped. Everything around me spun as warm wind rushed past my ears. I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for the impact that would surely shatter my legs. But it didn’t. I had madness into someone, whose arms had caught me. The scent of cedar and expensive cologne immediately filled my lungs.

Bryan grinned, his eyes gleaming with a sadistic thrill as he stepped forward, his movements slow and deliberate. The air in the room grew heavy, thick with the scent of fear. Mandy’s breath hitched, her body trembling uncontrollably as she shook her head, silently pleading with him to stay away. Desperation clawed at her as she shifted toward Dave, hoping for some form of protection, but he was quicker, springing up from the bed before she could reach him.

I noticed that everyone going to make a wish held a small black stone in their hands. I asked Archie, "What's that?" "Wishing stones," he whispered. "But these are just a scam to fool rich people—" Before he could finish, I walked toward a small cabin nearby. The cabin sold those black stones. I pointed to one. "How much for one?" "Three thousand dollars." I took the stone and waded into the water. After a deep breath, I closed my eyes and sank to the bottom of the spring. I relaxed and let the water flow around me. Time passed slowly in the silence. I couldn't hear anything.

"Maia, are you really this stupid, or are you just acting? Someone could sell you out, and you'd still be there thanking the person who did it." His tone had shifted. It wasn't playful anymore. A cold chill began to creep up my spine. This wasn't some kinky game. He wasn't joking. "W-What do you want? Why did you tie me up?" "What does it look like? I caught myself a prime piece of meat, and I'm going to get a good price for it." A prime piece of meat. A good price. Suddenly, every horror story I'd ever read about women vanishing in remote areas flashed through my mind.

Zayn asked, smiling, and Zelda, upon realizing she had lost, began to wail, and kick her legs around. "We're still waiting. When's the story ending?" Tristan asked, and Zelda sniffed. "There's still Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We also have Hansel and Gretel. Then we'll tell Sleeping Beauty again." "We already told that!" Zayn snapped. "Well, we'll tell it again." "We're not telling it again." "Gosh!" Will blurted out, unable to wait any longer. In the end, we stuffed their mouths with goodies, and ran off with them, slung over Titan, and Tristan's shoulders.
