“Then it’s not just showing me what’s happened. It’s showing me what will.” Theo reached beside the table again and pulled out a second item from the leather folder. It was slim, bound in deep red linen, the corners worn with time. He hesitated before handing it to her. Her breath caught the moment she saw the title: The Crimson Letter By Isla Ward She stared at it, her hand hovering. “Where did you get this?” “I found it last year,” Theo said quietly. “Tucked behind the books in the library’s upper shelf. I didn’t know what it was at first. Just that it felt… wrong.”

And on his left was the witch who became their ally to finally bring down the four packs. He stood in the middle strong and unbothered by the screams of everyone. He raised his right hand and with that, opened a huge door on the far right side of the dome. With heavy steps and weak bodies, four men went out of the huge door. As they made their entrance, everyone shouted louder and more aggressive. “KILL THEM!” “CUT THEIR HEADS OFF!” The four men walked slowly and finally made it to the center facing Brody. Brody smiled in arrogance as he spits on one of the men, the Alpha of the Crimson Crest pack, Connor.

The headlines hit the corporate stage like a series of brutal, devastating explosions. “Crimson Foundation Plummets… Again!” The media coverage was absolutely brutal. Graphs and stock charts showed Crimson’s company value dropping in a horrific, straight vertical line. Across the city, Alpha Crimson was just finding out the hard way that I had deep, invisible strings to play, even when we were completely separated and standing on opposite sides of a war. He had thought he could threaten me at the council meeting because of his physical warriors, but he had entirely forgotten that I could destroy his life with a single phone call from my desk.

She smiled, “her wolf is one that needs a strong human, not just anyone can control Crimson.” My eyes darted to her and then back to the road, “Crimson, as in blood, fire and brimstone, that type of Crimson?” She sat up straight, “why would you think like that and not that it is just the color red.” I shrugged, “Angel remember, I always think that type of stuff first,” I gave her a shy smile. She nodded, “it doesn’t matter, Crimson is gone with her, unless she is now with someone who didn’t have a wolf.”

Even as he slammed into her at last, plunging her into whimpering ecstasy, even as he pushed her toward the limit again and again, as his teeth bore into her bottom lip and he pounded every scrap of thought and fear out of her, she felt the difference. Everyone listens, these are good people a good pack that is far stronger than we could ever be because they allow everyone to be who they should be, mate whoever they want to mate.” I watched as his eyes met Claire’s and she quickly put her head down. “There is hope here and love here. We can be happy without ever having to run away again and all we have to do is follow our true alpha, the last true descendant of the red wolves, the Crimson Priestess.” Hushed voices and intense shock swept through almost every single wolf.
