It pulsed like a living organ. The Crimson Heart. The legendary amplifier stone capable of enslaving a continent. "We have it," I said, closing the lid and latching it. "Ashren, carry it. Do not touch the stone directly. It feeds on skin contact."

“It binds your aura to lunar truth. If dark magic has touched her, you will feel it.
