Luca’s POV The forest swallowed us whole, branches whipping my naked skin as Rocco barreled through the underbrush, my body slung over his shoulder like a trophy from war. Gunfire crackled behind us—the compound erupting in flames, Viktor’s Bratva clashing with Sal’s Morettis in a final frenzy. Dante’s roar echoed distantly, a desperate hunt through the chaos. The toxin in my veins simmered low, a constant hum of weakness, but Rocco’s grip was iron—his blood from Dante’s graze soaking my side, mixing with the drying remnants of Viktor’s claim.

Deciding not to bother refilling the now empty glass, she brought the bottle to her lips and tipped her head backward, gulping the red liquid down in a rush. She choked and coughed, placed the bottle down and chuckled sadly. "Omar, I'm really sorry." Hiccup. "I'm really really sorry. But I needed this break, at least I thought that was what I needed.... I shout so loudly my voice cracks, only this time, I didn't say the last part in English-it was full on Latin. The Demon starts to convulse and Uncle John's already dead-looking flesh begins ripping away from the sockets connecting his arms, spilling out the pungent odor of death. Zull gets out before thick black liquid shoots straight up from his mouth, forming into the body of giant reptile with horns and spikey hands.

The crocotta, who's almost as bit as Eleena, growled but she just smiled at it. "Destroyer." The crocotta said, mimicking Eleena's voice. She just nodded, as if acknowledging the creature's skill to speak. "I wonder what you taste like." It growled again and this time, Eleena's smile disappeared. She ran towards it before jumping but it also jumped causing them to collide into each other. Since Eleena only weighs light, the crocotta fell on top of her. Its saliva keeps on dripping to her face as it keeps on trying to bite her. Eleena tries to kick its stomach but its front paws are clawing into the ground so it doesn't budge even just a bit.

Rune could perceive the strong fragrance of evil, danger was looming. “You both aren’t needed here, leave!” Danica yelled at Rune and Gunner. Gunner frowned “And who the hell do you think you are to command?” he asked. Danica laughed “Oh wizard!” She exclaimed, “You are so clueless, well let me formally introduce us all.” She said with an evil smile, she pulled off her robe to reveal a beautiful gown that cling to her body showing her curves, it was sleeveless and revealed a beautiful but scary tattoo of a python that covered her exposed back.

I huff “NO WAY!” Chloe let out a deafening scream that made me quickly pull the phone far from my ear. “ YOU MET LUCA CROVETTO!” “That’s what he said” I replied surprisingly rubbing my chin “Since when did you know about Mr crovetto?” “I’ve read about him in the news, I know he is a big player in the global market, always making power moves, there were allegations against him one time that he might be involved in some sort of mafia activities !”
