In one swift and bloody movement, Weber's head was detached from his body and hanging from Cain's mouth. Zak grabbed me as I saw Cain begin to morph back into a human. Before either of us could blink, Cain stood in front of Zak and head-butted him.

The bearded man glanced at his cut and continued to make his way toward the brightly lit bathroom as the sun had burst through the small window above the shower and illuminated the entire room causing him to wince from the view once he stepped inside while his eyes adjusted to his newly lit surroundings.

He shouted from behind us then we heard a gunshot. I hissed, knowing that he'd mess up that place further. I snatched the key to the safe room from my pocket and led Aurora in. She was quiet after I killed Ginevra and it bothered me a lot because I thought that she would be happy. The knife was still in my stomach, and with each move I made I felt it go deeper but it didn't scare me because I'd experienced worse cases than this and still survived.
