His Cruel Contract

His Cruel Contract

Hearing her response, he burst into boisterous laughter, callously speaking words that deeply wounded her spirit. "I did not spend a million dollars just to see you, Angel. I purchased you for my own desires, to touch and savor, to consume," he declared, his lips inching closer to her ear as he continued, "to destroy, to torment, to defile." Overwhelmed by his appalling words, she began to sob, unable to comprehend how someone could possess such a heartless nature to treat another human being as a mere object. She, too, is a human with emotions, just like everyone else, but now he is tarnishing her soul with his contemptible words and actions.

His Nemesis

His Nemesis

Humans. Creatures filled with greed. Creatures filled with hate. Creatures that are minds thrive in filth. Creatures whose ferocity is greater than any God. Those who feel are deemed unworthy. But those who own it are deemed as strong. The filth and hate, the cruelty and greed are such emotions. Such that no greater power can run past them. No demon, no spirit, no angels, no God can tame the human heart. They were never born to lead, they were born for the world's destruction. They were born to fill it with love, to make the world bloom. But oh, what an irony this is. They are the ones pushing life away, but they are the ones that are saying life.

Saved by the Archangel

Saved by the Archangel

Unintentionally, I was already choosing humanity above demons, and I think Tennebris was the first in my real world who had that perception of the facts. "And do you really think that after that, humanity will be left alone?" Tennebris asked in a hissing voice, shaking his head. The sin of Ira observed me as one who sees himself in front of a child very committed to drawing attention, as if he mocked, but did not want to hurt my feelings. Of course it was just an expression, Tennebris didn't give a damn about what I felt." Don't pretend naive in believing in such nonsense, majesty. I've seen you destroy a whole world only driven by hatred and mourning. I saw you tear out the soul and powers

The Apocalypse Hoarder

The Apocalypse Hoarder

When desperation set in, people would eat anything. "Jack is ruthless," Cyrus murmured. He despised the man, yet part of him couldn't help but acknowledge the cruelty. Plenty of people might discuss such ideas in theory, but few would actually strip their fallen comrades and keep the bodies as reserves before the food ran out. That was the edge of humanity's collapse.

The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

He liked this lovely little girl from the bottom of his heart, because she looked like Leah, both kind and sincere. "Cunning human beings are very despicable and most adept at lying! Many brothers and sisters have been cruelly killed by human beings!" "Manniu, we can ignore this human, but we must let him leave our territory immediately!"

"YESTERDAYS"_history uncaged

The Barbarians were humans of different kind, they ate their own and so were not to be associated with. In our world mankind was a variety of species that grew up with different skills The heart of a man in our world was deeply consumed in homo phobia and the hearts of men could be easily contaminated, and this was what brought the evil to our land, and mankind was almost wiped the entirely surface of the land. Years after years the heart of man grew wild enough to eliminate the love and peace that had once reigned in the land. A decree was made That man should stop eating its kind else be annihilated.

On the Origin of Humanity

On the Origin of Humanity

Or were they morally reprehensible from the start, and George merely provided them the chance to show it? But then I considered how humankind functions in this environment fraught with uncertainty and unfairness. Mankind is capable of extreme wickedness as well as incredible kindness. The majority of individuals are cruel, egotistical, and arrogant. There are individuals from different walks of life around the globe. If you don't recognize that, you should travel more, read more, and change employment a few times. I'm not exactly cosmopolitan. Such individuals are continually trying to establish their worth, and they do it by demonstrating that others are not. Such folks never feel bad about

The Pack's Triquetra

The Pack's Triquetra

She had been in his head, whatever he was, during the dream, seeing what he saw, sharing his thoughts… “And a boy. The humans killed him though. They put a door over him and put rocks on him until he was crushed beneath them… Oh, god,” she grimaced shaking her head to dispel the image which she could picture as if it were a memory of her own. “What sort of people do that to each other?” “In my experience,” Talen sat up and wrapped his arms around her, encouraging her to lean against his chest. “The more brutal the world at the time, the more brutal the humans treatment of each other becomes. That sounds like the crushing death, which was popular several centuries ago.”

Fantastic follow up to the first book. I keep going back to the first one to reread the corresponding chapters. It’s so good to see all the perspectives. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Such a clever way to present a story. I’m hooked. I’ll read anything this author puts out at this point.

Rule of a ruthless King

Rule of a ruthless King

a more elderly man agreed until they were all talking angrily amongst themselves. “Gentleman, Gentleman!" I called. “Edric was a cruel man indeed, but does that mean we repay him with the same cruelty? He has been merciless to me among many during his rule, but I will NOT allow any man to starve into a slow and painful death, no matter his crimes. That is not who we are, and we will not respond to ruthlessness with that of our own! We WILL be better than that. Better than the example he led by.” I waited a moment before I continued to allow what I said to sink in and to watch the response on their faces. But so far, it seemed they all understood my reasoning.
