Luminous: The Throne

Luminous: The Throne

It was huge. A creature made of shipwrecks and black water—part serpent, part beast, part collapsed docks—its body a tangled mass of hulls and chains and luminous slime. Empty portholes stared like eyes. The main mast jutted out the top like a spine. It roared again, the sound ripping across the harbor. Ianthe whistled. “Okay, that’s gross.” Eryx, sixteen and already tired of everything, sighed. “That’s going to be annoying to stab.”

Mafia's Nemesis

Mafia's Nemesis

Nevena asked, and Antonio nodded in affirmation. “You’re on a tour. Might as well get the best of New Mexico culture to add in your review.” They moved through the market—from snapping shrimps to scuttling crabs tied in bundles and to a giant whale. It was so massive that it took six sailors and a local crane to haul it up. “Bestie, let’s take a picture!” Junior tugged at Nevena. Antonio stood off to the side, arms crossed, watching the chaos with mild affection.

Torch nudged me, pointing to the top of the Base at the far left “let us know if it comes this way.” The Kronosaurus’s piercing yellow eyes fixed on me as I watched it. It had two paddle shaped flippers at the front that hung over the edge of the Base, attached to a bulky body covered in thick, lumpy red skin that resembled boils. It had long wings that stretched outwards, a claw protruding from the top of each bony frame. It’s long, bent neck supported a curved head with a pointed jaw full of sharp, serrated teeth. The Kronosaurus only broke eye contact with me when a small boy joined its side to pat it. The Krono nudged his side lovingly, to make him feed it something from his pocket.

Billionaires And Beaches: The Kisses Series

Billionaires And Beaches: The Kisses Series

Blue tang, angelfish, trumpet-fish, and myriads of shiny, tiny minnows moved through the reef with amazing ease, filling the ocean floor with color and movement. Noah pointed excitedly to a hole in a rock where a spotted eel slithered out and went into another section of the reef to find something to eat. Even despite the snorkel in his mouth, he couldn't contain the grin on his face. I dove down to the bottom, picking up a conch shell. It was still very much alive, and Noah held it reverently in his hands. Light pink flesh peeked out of the shell as Noah examined it, and he nearly dropped the living creature. I could hear him laugh under the water as he realized that it wasn't just a shell.

Luckily they are all rank 2. Corpses kept on accumulating on the path he was treading on and red blood kept on flowing on the river at the center of the valley. At some point, an imponent figure appeared in front of her. Its body was eighteen meters long and four meters thick, it had three horns on its head and from its fangs was dripping a violet dense liquid. 'Rank 3 Horned snake!' Behind it, a handful of rank 2 horned snakes were coiled together looking in her direction.

Lone Witch, Rogue Wolf

Lone Witch, Rogue Wolf

These screeches were nothing in comparison to the horrendous shriek that the snake-like creature released when she began to feel Tilla’s magic fester within her veins. Unfurling the large dewlaps hidden beneath her throat in another menacing display. The creature recoiled, before diving down into the fissure. Plunging back into the darkness from where it had risen. There was hardly a gasp of air to be permitted to pass from Tilla’s lips, before a horned creature came charging towards her. Drool flowing from over his scarred jaws, the beast stomped towards her gnashing the nubs of his grotesque teeth together.

The Alpha Protocol

The Alpha Protocol

A gigantic, worm-like salt scorpion, whose tank consisted of thick, crystallised salt layers, which were in the light of our Headlights like diamonds sparkled. His huge scissors crawled with the Noise of rolling stone, and his tail ended in a sharpened Stack of pure carbon steel – the remnant of an old wreck that the animal in had integrated his body. The beast struck a deep, inaudible infrasound loop, which the front discs the steel coil trembled, and held directly on our flank. Kael pulled his kinetic rifle off his back and a wild, unwavering smile lay on his lips. “Welcome in the deep sea, Jada. Let us show them that our

Dragon-kissed

Dragon-kissed

“Is anyone feeling nauseous?” “I know what this is,” Sasha said grimly. “This is a sea animal call, just like what I did in Pukkitunturi when I blew the conch-shell horn.” “A conch shell,” Aki said in the tone of an of course. They waited with bated breaths. Based on the sound, the conch shell should be immense, certainly much bigger than the one Sasha had used to summon the hippocamps and even larger than a Czar Cannon. Temujin could picture the sumo-sized pirate having been plucked from the sea by his companions and then blowing the giant conch shell.

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The Gladiator Wolf King - Book 3

The golden manes were now shredded and in place stood a furless pale creature with red eyes and jagged teeth. Crawlers? That is what they reminded me of, A more animalistic version of Orion’s Crawlers. The creatures attempted to growl at me but instead of something deep and menacing, it was a screech that sent a shiver down my spine, piercing every single nerve ending and shaking my very core.

There is too much to write about this story to write a review in 300 characters. I highly recommend this book, but start with the Delta’s Daughter if you haven’t already started there. Stout had me on a roller coaster of feelings with this one. I can’t wait to read the next one!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.
