Torch nudged me, pointing to the top of the Base at the far left “let us know if it comes this way.”
The Kronosaurus’s piercing yellow eyes fixed on me as I watched it. It had two paddle shaped flippers at the front that hung over the edge of the Base, attached to a bulky body covered in thick, lumpy red skin that resembled boils. It had long wings that stretched outwards, a claw protruding from the top of each bony frame. It’s long, bent neck supported a curved head with a pointed jaw full of sharp, serrated teeth.
The Kronosaurus only broke eye contact with me when a small boy joined its side to pat it. The Krono nudged his side lovingly, to make him feed it something from his pocket.
