MY BUTTERFLY ****************** CALEB’S POV ****************** My heart is heavy and burdened as I watch the woman who has come to mean everything to me wither away before my eyes. I see her pains and how she tries so hard to hide them with a smile. Sometimes I want to break down and cry but for her, I try to be strong. However when she is not watching I go to a private place and cry. They say strong men do not cry but for Angela’s sake I agree to be a weakling for her sake I agree that I am not man enough.

“You will find, Bär, that tears are a weapon. Your mother and sister never used them, they are above such things. But most she-wolves are not. I have known Ada for her whole life, she is not above tears. And your holding her right now is playing right into her hands.” “I’m not holding her,” Bär rolls his eyes. “I am comforting a crying female.” Caleb looks at Ada who has her head on Bär’s chest. “Stay just like that,” Caleb takes a picture with is phone and sends it to Duke. “Let’s see how her mate feels about the position.” He barely got the words out before Duke barreled into the office. “What happened? Why is my mate crying?” Duke accepts Ada to his side as Bär releases her.

I separated from him to wipe my tears with my palm, but not enough because my eye is still releasing something. "Damn it, Duex, I don't want to cry." I tried to look up while biting my lip, but it just ended in a sob. I feel so devastated. My heart seemed to be being grabbed and squeezed in so much pain that I couldn't do anything but cry and wail.

"I know this isn't easy for you." I sigh, stacking the box on top of another one by the door. "It's not," I admit as I walk over to the small couch and plop myself down for a much needed break. I concentrate on keeping down the lump in my throat. "I miss my sister." The words barely come out a whisper. I can't even look at Geni as I try not to cry again. I'm tired of crying. It's time to move forward. But I don't want to leave her behind either. It's a hard place to be.

Tears falling like an neverending waterfall from my eyes. I didn't have to mindlink my father, he already knewn she was gone by the snapping of the mate bond, letting him known she was dead. The screams I heard from my father that night were sounds you would never think a grown man could make. His screams mirroring that of a banshee, ear piercing cries rang through out the bathroom, bouncing off the silver tile walls.

Her tears never left her until the morning comes and her voice started to dry out. She cannot cry anymore after hours of outbursts. Those times she lent for herself to release are enough and it's now time to face the world outside, to face the person who caused her destruction.

"Hey! That's my toy!" I watch as the kid cries for her toy, being bullied by older kids. I stood up from the roof and walked away, I hate seeing such scenarios. I walked towards the Grymkin's forest, my clan's forest, this is where my clan moved after someone had spread a hideous rumor about us, which is true. Our clan controls fire. The kingdom has given us the title of "Grymkin's Protector" when in fact we can burn this forest down into ashes.
