" Kirby yelled, tears brimming. "I'm sorry, Carrie." Carrie muffled out an apology. Seeing Carrie had no intention of clarifying anything, Kirby grabbed her stuffed bag and walked out of the house. Carrie stood in the same spot for several minutes before her phone rang again. She took it and frowned slightly seeing it was her mother. "Kirby just found out who I am. You said she wouldn't." Carrie said as soon as the call connected. "What are you saying, Carrie? I did everything possible to keep that secret away from her."

His eyes welled with a few tears that he couldn’t hide from Sky and Lexi. “Awe… big baby is crying now”. They both teamed up against him, raining his face with kisses until he started laughing with him. ----- Tabby ------

His eyes, beaming with hope, suddenly widened with indescribable pain, followed by emptiness. The smile on Kyron's face disappeared, replaced by horror and deep sorrow. “Nooooo! Keefe! Keefe!” Kyron shouted hysterically. His tears spilled. He no longer cared about himself. Kyron ran and jumped into the air to come over to Keefe. But Keefe could no longer hear Kyron's voice. There was only emptiness on his face. Under the sky, Kyron watched Keefe's body slowly fade and turn into glowing dust that flew through the air, like dandelion flakes flying in the wind.

I sat on top of the car, and I could hear him cussing me out inside. I thought, "Austin, even if I survived the mountains, I would be resting in bed from the shock. I wouldn't have the energy to bring up a divorce." After my death, my body could no longer produce tears. Still, I touched my dry eyes as I yelled into the night. I called Austin a jerk, but only I could hear my own voice. Luna chuckled like she had just won a battle. "Let's drink! Forget about Ruby. I've called Howard and the others to join us. Let's drink until we pass out!"

Instead, this twisted cosmic joke of a universe presented me with a piece of jewelry. I collapsed backward. My head nearly cracked against the hardwood floor as a wave of hysterical laughter broke from my chest. I laughed until my chest seized, my throat constricting so tightly that the oxygen died in my lungs. “Zaka, if you can hear me..." I gasped out through the fit, bitter tears swelling in my eyes and tracking down my temples. "This isn't funny. It's not…” I swallowed hard and continued. “I almost lost my life for nothing.” Another tore through my lips, stretching my smile painfully.
