The guy buckled over, clutching his stomach and letting out a gasp. “I deserve that…” he breathed, his face slightly red. “Darn right” Kira snapped but then her chin started to wobble again. Her hands held her face as she started to cry once more, her shoulders lightly shaking. Chris placed a hesitant arm around my friend, she allowing him (a total contradiction to what she had just done) to cradle her. “I just… I want to get out of here” she mumbled as I walked towards her. “We can go anywhere” I said, trying to give her a light smile as the guy that caused my friend to cry, rubbing soothing circles up and down her back.

DAMON/BRYCE POV. "Kiara, are you crying," I asked, after noticing her teary eyes. Does she feel pity for Maya? I couldn't tell because of how unpredictable Kiara can be. She quickly cleaned her eyes and then looked at me, frowning. "Is it your fault, my body went into shock seeing how you nearly died on me," she grumbled, folding her eyes and trying to get her act together, even though her body was clearly shaking.
