Blue eyes. Not the murky grey-blue that some kids have that eventually fades to brown or green, but ice-blue, clear and bright and unmistakable even from across the street, the exact shade I saw every time I looked in a mirror, the Navarro eyes that had been passed down through generations of my family like a genetic signature. My world stopped.

“I—I—.” “I know.” A wide grin spreads over his face, his happiness plain to read in his deep blue eyes—. His eyes! Frantic, I grasp each side of his strong jaw, staring into them. Gone is the eerie overtone of aquamarine that my talisman—the Forest or the Wood—gave him. These are his deep blue eyes, but now there’s a yellow halo about his pupils, like a sunburst. A saffron corona cutting into the blue like the sun does the sky on a clear day.

She got her fathers' unique eye colors. Aurelia's eyes, a delicate reflection of the genes she had inherited from her fathers, held a unique charm of their own. They glistened with a mesmerizing shade of bluish gray, like the tranquil surface of a calm sea under the moonlight. Within the depths of that serene shade, delicate specks of gray danced like stars in the night sky. They were beautiful. "Well, come here, my angel. It's my arms you wanna be carried, don't you?" Kazimir cooed.

I glance at him. I halt. He is looking at me. The intense burn of his blue stare is blazing my skin. My cheeks feel hot and so do my ears. I lean in, giving in to the desire to look into his sapphire blue eyes, like last time in the corridor. They are crystal clear. There are no hints of other colours like grey or anything in them. It's like I’m looking into a clear lake. How breathtaking!

Crystal groaned sadly. " Give her a baby brother." Umbrie chuckled which earned her a glare. " Here's Loki!" Leilani grinned seeing the way her daughter's head turned sharply to face the direction her finger was pointing. " Loki!" Crystal screamed, wiggling out of her mother's arms as she rushed to a cute, white furry cat with blue eyes like her own. " See Mom!" She called. " Loki has the same eye color as mine." " Yes baby." Leilani replied and turned to Umbrie.

For the first time, something flickered in his gaze, not pity, not interest, just curiosity. She had the eyes that's believed to only run in the royal family of the Crimson Blood Pack. Ocean blue eyes. His curiosity increased. He stepped back. “Pack your things. You leave at dawn.”

Isabelle whispered, her voice thick with emotion. Crystal looked into the gilded floor-to-ceiling mirror. She gasped, her hand flying to her throat. The girl in the mirror was a stranger—a goddess. She was the woman Crystal was always meant to be. Without the glasses, her eyes were huge, a startling, rare shade of violet-blue that seemed to burn with an inner fire. Her lashes were dark and sweeping; her lips were naturally plush and tinted a soft rose. "Oh my God," she whispered. Isabelle appeared beside her in the mirror, tears streaming down her face. "Crystal... my gorgeous baby girl."

Everything is ready for later, and I also told Howard about everything, but Crystal's condition is my top priority, right now. My gaze went to her eyes, and I was surprised because it was red. All I know is that her eye color is blue when we first met, but then I was wrong because the last time it turned out, her eyes are yellow. What the hell is happening? “Crystal?” she turned to me after I called. I first examined her whole face to see if there were any other changes, but nothing. “Your eyes are red. Are you okay? Maybe you're sick. Why don't we check you up?” I asked acting normal but the shit inside of me, worry a lot.

They were the same haunting, solid blue as Aradaa’s. The glass cracked.

“It means nature is trying to create something it was never meant to. Something forbidden.” Ryan felt his chest tighten. The room suddenly became colder. The doctor gently opened Jax’s eyelid once more. “Look.” Ryan stepped closer. Mike did the same. Jax’s eyes were partly open. The color wasn’t gold. It wasn’t red either. It was blue. A deep, glowing blue. The doctor slowly released his eyelid. “Those are Beta eyes.” Mike blinked. “But you just said…” “I know what I said.” The doctor’s voice became heavier. “An Omega should never have blue eyes.”
