They looked so soft, beckoning him to wrap them around his fingers. She lifted her lashes without a warning and made eye contact with him, causing all his thoughts to come to a jolting halt. The blue of her eyes struck him like a bolt of lightning on a clear day- he didn't see it coming. They were blue like the ocean. He despised the ocean. He wasn't fond of blue- the color signified misery for him. But, right now, staring into her eyes, he couldn't help but admire blue. Blue- the hue of her eyes. And so interesting that he felt this need to want to know more about them.

“Look at her eyes...” “They're different... blue?” “It's more than blue... there's something purple in her irises.” “They're beautiful.” “They're... strange.” Mia blinked, confused, and then saw her reflection in the window of a nearby car. Her eyes were indeed different. They were a vivid blue, with a purple-lilac ring surrounding the iris. They were silver eyes. She knew it the moment she saw them. They both glare at one another, and while I look back and forth between the two I can definitely see that they look almost identical besides slightly differing features. I closed my eyes, trying to regain control of my emotions, but his piercing blue eyes flashed in my mind. Oh, those blue eyes.
