Her skin was soft and delicate, akin to that of a newborn baby. "It tickles," she giggled softly, her laughter like a beautiful melody. "Does it?" A smile played on my lips as I continued to pepper her cheek with kisses, relishing in the sound of her laughter. "Then that's good news." I hovered over her, attacking both of her cheeks now. "Hey, stop it!" She giggled, her laughter becoming more uninhibited as she attempted to push me away. "What if I don't?" I playfully blew a raspberry on her cheek, and a gasp escaped her lips, followed by a surprised expression.

She giggles, her loose curly hair bouncing with her movement. "Lukey." She whined, wanting to get away from his torturous fingers. "Roro help." She squealed, hugging my body as if it would stop Luke antics. I laughed and backed away. "That's enough Luke." I giggled holding her small body to my own.

Me: “Well, since I’m such a kind sweetheart, as thanks for doing my laundry… you can have a free cuddle tonight.” His head whipped toward me so fast I thought his glasses would fly off. Aaron: “What?” I shrugged casually. Me: “Remember that part where the ghost grabbed the guy’s leg from under the bed? Who knows—she might be under ours. Only way to escape is to be united. And to be united, we have to cuddle. But hey, if you’re not scared of a ghost grabbing your leg…” I started to turn away. Aaron: “Wait, wait, wait.”

His giggles, paired with the occasional babble, filled the room with joy, a melody that softened Alexa’s heart. "Look at that, Rahilla!" Alexa pointed to the screen, mimicking the exaggerated expressions of the cartoon characters. Rahilla clapped his tiny hands and squealed in delight, making Alexa chuckle softly. Moments like these were her haven—simple, peaceful, and filled with the innocence of her son’s laughter. However, that tranquility was short-lived. The vibrant cartoon flickered off, replaced by the serious face of a news anchor. The sudden shift jarred Alexa, and her heart thudded in her chest as the grave voice filled the room.

Riordan whines. I hear a giggle and realize my little darkling has relaxed and is leaning against my chest. Caturix is lying down in my head, watching our little mate. He is content and is making a sound close to a purr. Riordan shoots her a look that makes her giggle more. I swat her thigh, but it did not stop her from giggling. Any other person would be in deep shit for glaring at her, but these three act like siblings. I was amazed at how quickly they took to her. Especially Kyran is a grade-A goofball, but it usually takes him a while to warm up to someone.

“OKAY HEHEHEHE I GEHEHEHET IT! STAHAHAHAP!” “We know, but this is so much fun.” Hollis cooed, suctioning her lips to Whitney’s neck one more time, making loud kissing sounds as she squealed with uncontrollable laughter. Kendra had since scrambled to her feet, cursing with a wince at the burned soup glaring at her from their stove.

“Have you been hiding from your mother all night?!” He flinched—but not from fear. From laughter. I tackled him gently into the pillows, smothering his face in kisses as he squealed under me. “Where is my little boy?!” I gasped between kisses. “Is he under here? No—he’s here! I SEE HIS BELLY! TICKLE TICKLE!” He giggled. Not just a small chuckle. A real, bubbling, belly-deep giggle. I froze. Jayden looked up sharply too.

I said. She shook her head and giggled. “I’m nice… when needed.” My lips parted and I shook my head. “Cuddle me to sleep?” I asked her. She looked at me like I asked for something huge. “Fuck off, get a man. Ain’t cuddling shit.” “Oh, really? Fine.” I said as I gave her the middle finger and walked into the room. She laughed so hard. “I love that look on your face, I’m coming through. Before you cry like a baby the way Mia cries.”

The atmosphere is tense, thick. Until Hana sighs rather loudly, falling dramatically to the floor. Asha joins her, and soon enough they begin to sob. The sight sends a burst of humour through my body, and without thinking, I fall into fits of giggles. My knees buckle, and I’m flat on the floor, holding my tummy with laughter spilling from my lips. Hana and Asha join in, their high-pitched giggles mixing with the hiccups of their sobs only makes me laugh harder until tears are leaking from eyes.

I can't help but burst into a fit of giggles, my laughter echoing through the room, his own laughter joining in. He pulls me close, wrapping his arms around me, resting his head on my chest as we catch our breath between giggles. Our laughter fills the room. We lie there, tangled together, laughing like a couple of mad people, lost in the moment of pure, unadulterated fun.
