Alpha Calle's Cursed Mate

Alpha Calle's Cursed Mate

Her flesh and blood, as what she usually calls me even through telepathy. *** Unlike the usual witch room which was dark and creepy, Aunt Crisanta’s magic room was bright, spacious, and cozy. There were no black candles that sat on skulls, only a couple of bottles with a variety of herbs. “This one is for eliminating bad energy in the room. It’s made of bay leaf and rosemary.” Aunt Crisanta picked up a cluster of roots and wrapped them with more roots. “So… what’s the most complicated potion, spell, or talisman have you created so far?”

Breaking the Barbaric Alpha

Breaking the Barbaric Alpha

As she pulled the book out the shelf flipped down wards revealing a secret cupboard. Inside the cabinet there were hanging herb bundles, a ritual knife that the handle was riddled with stones and crystals, chalice, Crystals and other stones set on a silk red cloth. There was a leather bound book inside that was laced up the side. It was worn away like it was very very old. She gathered some crystals, herbs, the chalice, and mortar and pestle. She then walked to her bathroom. She needed a mirror.

She just took his breath away. "Come on in, let us start with some magick and then we can do more research on the wolf/snake/man whatever." Art said and they sat together. Rory circled the insignia in the book, which was the symbol for alchemy, twice with her finger, the book opened with a soft blue glow. Rory giggled. She looked exhilarated, like a kid in the sweet shop. Art explained to her about different herbs and how they could be imbibed into a potion. "My mom is always better at potions. I- I dabble, but sometimes I make the opposite of what I intended to make." He said with a frown and she chuckled.

Patrick, Dominic's beta, had taken his leave and quickly exited the place before Dominic could call him out for his mistake. Now, fryege carefully pulled out the book from his bag as if it was made of porcelain and held it in his hands. It was an ancient book with a large hardcover and its pages yellowed and delicate. Freyge showed his asset proudly to the mage who could only stare at the book in shock. “Where did you get that?” Looking at the book, he walked near and flipped a few pages carefully, not quite believing his eyes. It held information on curses, potions, and hexes along with ingredients, where to find them, the brewing process, and a lot more.

So, I like the first part of the plot, sadly I didn't have much coins nor gems to support the author. ahh I'm poor... well anyways, I like the story, much more the writing skills, I could never achieve this kind of writing ability, the backround and the informations of this story is good, good job.

Bound by the Moon, Rejected by the Alpha

Bound by the Moon, Rejected by the Alpha

she began, “according to my grandmother, it’s a temporary neutralizer derived from blending rare herbs and a meditative chant that has helped others control the coldness and hotness they feel within themselves. Of course, it’s not a perfect cure, but it will at least give you the control you need for the time being. I didn’t talk about it last time because your power receded on its own.” I didn’t say anything but only watched with keen interest as she carefully gathered a few vials and bundles of dried herbs—lavender for calm, sage for cleansing, and a touch of a secret ingredient only the Moon goddess knew. The scent of these herbs hit the air, creating a fragile cocoon of tranquility in my

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

SAVED BY THE LYCAN KING

“The baby’s energy is clashing with yours. You’re both strong—too strong—and your body is reacting like it’s fighting an invader. It’s not a natural breach. It’s magical.” I blinked through tears. “Wh-What does that mean?” “It means we need balance. And fast.” She turned to Eden, who was standing frozen by the door. “I need the herbal compendium from the east wing. Page 17—blue hawthorn, moonshade, lavender root, and dropvine. Run, now.” Eden didn’t hesitate. “On it!” He bolted. Raven turned back to me and knelt by the bed, her hand never leaving my stomach. She began rubbing in small, slow circles while chanting words I didn’t recognize.

The Vampire King's Feeder

I keep small vials of dried herbs in my bag, and I throw in some mugwort and sage into the bowl as well. Lighting another match, I throw it into the bowl. The mixture of herbs and hairs spark into a purple flame. I reach for the onyx pendulum I wear as a necklace and unclasp it. Dangling the onyx pendulum over the purple flame, I wait till the onyx glows purple absorbing the magical essence.

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

Watching her was like watching a maestro compose a symphony, each note—each ingredient—carefully selected and placed with purpose. The first part of the cure-making process had been relatively simple, at least by Agatha's standards. She’d instructed me to gather a number of ingredients, some of which I recognized from my own training as a nurse, but others were completely foreign to me. There was the usual assortment of healing herbs—comfrey, yarrow, and goldenrod—all of which had well-documented medicinal properties. But then there were the more exotic items, things that didn’t belong in any modern apothecary. “Fetch me the spiritvine root,” Agatha had said at one point, her voice calm but

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

Claimed and Sold at the Lycan King's Ball

Claimed and Sold at the Lycan King's Ball

Ensuring the aisle was completely empty, I began hauling heavy texts from the shelves, desperately searching for any records on magical illnesses, cursed mate bonds, dream magic, or ancient poisons. For hours, I scanned page after page of faded script. Most of the texts spoke of simple silver poisonings or battlefield hexes that any basic healer could neutralize with a wave of their hands. I found nothing convincing. Just as frustration began to take hold, my fingers brushed against a heavily warded, nameless leather book near the back of the shelf.

Leslie did not answer. I turned back to her. “You said the herb grows in the heart of the Tithers,” I said again. “How hard is it to find?” “It grows in patches near the marsh water,” she answered. “The leaves are dark and the stems look silver when light touches them. If you squeeze them you will see clear liquid come out immediately.” “And I just bring the leaves back?” I asked. “Yes,” she said. “Bring as many as you can. I will extract the liquid and prepare the antidote.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Folklore is brimming with herbs believed to hold magical powers, and I love digging into these stories! Mugwort, for instance, has been a staple in European traditions for centuries—people used it in dream pillows to enhance lucid dreaming or ward off evil spirits. It’s wild how something as simple as a plant could be tied to such vivid beliefs. Then there’s sage, which isn’t just for cooking; Native American smudging ceremonies and European protective rituals both lean on its purifying energy. Even today, I know folks who burn sage to 'cleanse' a room, blending ancient ideas with modern vibes.

Another favorite of mine is vervain, often called the 'witch’s herb.' Medieval lore claimed it could break curses or attract love if tucked into a charm bag. And let’s not forget basil—while it’s great on pasta, in Italian folklore, it symbolized fertility and was sometimes left as an offering to spirits. The way these herbs weave through cultures, from practical uses to mystical symbolism, makes me appreciate how deeply nature’s tied to human imagination. Every time I spot mugwort on a hike now, I can’t help but smile at its hidden legacy.
