Typically my dreams are pretty average, or I think they are since I don’t usually remember them. And this was pretty normal. I was sunbathing by the pool with my brother and cousin Zoe, dishing about guys cause, well, that’s what we do in our free time. Forthwith he fluttered his eyes wide open, stretched and yawned, then skimmed the room fiercely till his eye secured a figure sleeping on the couch closer to his bed. It was his dad and it was no dream at that time. He used his thumb to touch Yahiko, anticipating it to be real and not just some other nightmare again, just as he did, Yahiko's eyes flickered wide open.

I questioned as I stared at him with wide eyes. “Because I felt him, Kade. When you were torturing me earlier, I felt my beast and I finally understood what was going on. I'm not cured of my beast, am I? I'm never going to be cured, am I?" He questioned softly and I frowned before sitting down on the ground with my back pressed against the cage bar. “I can heal you, I know a cure. A permanent cure this time" I murmured and I heard him suck in his breath.

I held her close, our breaths mingling, our hearts beating as one. She pulled away from me, and she sat on top of me, her legs straddling me. Locking her eyes onto mine, she whispered. “Help me, Rykor, break my curse and make me yours.” I jolt awake. Morning light filtered through the curtains, pulling me from the intoxicating dream. My body felt the lingering effects of our imagined union, a sense of fulfilment yet yearning filling my heart. The vividness of the dream left me in a haze, a testament to how real it had felt.
