The boy had no idea where the wetness came from because nowhere up around where he stood was wet. The boy felt a sudden sadness for the poor animal, so he held out his right hand, palm down, and suddenly, his arm glowed with a strange purple color. The purple color that had started to glow around his arm seemed to wiggle around it as if it were alive in its own way. Slowly, the wolf began to rise and out of the pit, with the boy switching his hand’s position as the wolf floated out of the pit. The boy laid him softly on the ground just a few feet away from the opening with a wave of his hand.

Cause the sun to rise Sing to the heart that weeps Cause the moon to fall Let the heart that weeps sing They said we are a curse They said we course the land with curse But we are like Rehab the harmless dragon Their ignorance were the cause that cursed the land. Cause the sun to rise The blight of ignorance has walloped our mother with curse. But in our infinite trouble In our heart melting like the oil from a candle wax There lies the one, the king, the mother of all mothers

I can't let her come in-between my senses of reasoning. I paced to the study room and picked up the book I have on my table. I have not been able to get to another page. I am just at one page ever since. The curse is something I wouldn't love anyone to know about because I don't know how to break it. The curse is a difficult thing and now that she has known, the bond from our fate would act as a catalyst to put us together. I couldn't really concentrate on the book. I will open a page, read small. Before I know it, I am already thinking heavily again.

The cursed blood itself is the weapon and when it meets steel, it births a wound no power can heal. The cursed blood turns metal into ravenous teeth.” His grin widened, savage. “Dip a blade in cursed blood and it will not merely cut… it will eat. It will find whatever makes him immortal

Shadows flicker red beneath my door now, dancing like cruel spirits. “Run!” The word echoes in my skull. The door bursts inward in a spray of sparks and splintered wood. Flames roar behind a towering silhouette. A man steps through the fire. I cannot see his face — only the outline of him carved in burning light. And his eyes. They glow. Not with reflection. With power. The world fractures into red and gold. Heat devours everything. The scream tears from my throat— I wake choking on smoke that isn’t there. My room is dark. Quiet. Whole.

Atrocious replied, rubbing an orb on the armrest of his chair. "Reveal? What do you have to reveal?" Draco raised an eyebrow, realizing that it must be serious if Atrocious was acting this way. Atrocious was never one to think or worry so much about anything and when he does, it meant it was something to be taken very seriously. Atrocious sighed heavily, picked up the orb, and muttered a spell. The orb became surrounded by a mist of emerald color, and an obscure figure appeared within it. "It's a curse. Your brother, the Alpha King, is cursed."

My image finally started blurring, but it’s not my family that’s reflecting back at me this time. It’s Creed, bloody and bruised. He screamed as the chains that held him rattled. The mirrors surrounding him played images of burning buildings and people running. I can hear their screams, their innocent. Just as fast as they came, the images vanished. They were replaced by a battle, but I don’t recognize anyone. The image of a black wolf is positioned above the battle in the mirror. An image of a vampire was on the mirror next to it. I can hear screams of pain and heartbreak as I watch the victims from both sides fall.

Ethan replied impatiently, "Should we have left Mandy and the kid stranded in the middle of nowhere? Besides, we arranged for someone to pick up Heidi. It was just for a short while, so what's the problem?" "Arranged for someone? Just for a short while?" I stood up abruptly, swatting away his hand, my eyes blazing red. "Ethan, do you know that because of your damn 'short while', Heidi, she..." My voice choked, unable to continue the horrifying truth. Ethan frowned impatiently. "What are you trying to say?" "Heidi, she..." I took a deep breath, trembling as I spoke, "She was killed by wolves!" As I said those words, I felt every part of me crumbling, my body ice-cold, and everything went dark
