Looking around, David notices a hiding bone spider. Bob points at it too. David nods and takes out the log. Bone Spider Classification: Animal (Insect) Description: A monstrous spider-like creature the size of a medium dog. Unlike any of the common spider species present on Earth, the bone spider has a large mouth filled with rows and rows of teeth. They have the uncanny ability to shoot spikes from their mouths made out of bone. An effect of their evolution allows them to climb tall objects although they are not able to climb horizontal ceilings.

Evan squeezed harder, making Carmen cough. "Die!" "Do you really want me dead? Don't you want to know where Lyra's head is?" Carmen used the last of her strength to say this. Evan froze for a moment before slowly releasing his grip. After a while, Carmen got up and opened the fridge. There were two glass jars inside with my head and kidney both soaking in formaldehyde.

ZEPHYRINE's POV. I stood frozen, my mind reeling in shock. "Cursed!" someone shouted, and the word was taken up by others, echoing through the clearing. "She's cursed, she's cursed, she's cursed! I felt like I'd gotten the wind sucked out of me, that he had reached in and sucked everything from my insides out. The words cut deep, and a part of me couldn't help but wonder one question: Was it me? Am I cursed to have people around me die under these circumstances that are so mysterious?

Arachne's gaze swept across the forest, as if ensuring we were alone. "You're entangled in a web of fate, Amara. A web that threatens to destroy everything." I sat up, my heart racing. "What do you mean?" Arachne's expression turned grave. "Alexander is bound to Aria by a centuries-old curse. A curse that will destroy him, and everyone he loves." My mind reeled. "What curse?" Arachne's voice dropped to a whisper. "The Curse of Lucifer. Aria's family made a pact with the fallen angel, trading their souls for power."

Suddenly, from the corner of the room, their mother’s voice rose in a broken wail. “Carla! Don’t take one of my children. It’s just me… It’s just me. Don’t make them suffer!” The plea cut through the air like a knife, raw and pleading. Their mother’s eyes were wide with terror, her bound hands twisting against the ropes as she rocked back and forth. The name “Carla” hung in the room like a summoned ghost, a tangible thread linking the present torment to the sins of the past. Eloise and Elena exchanged a glance heavy with shared dread—the curse was stirring again, drawing closer, its tendrils reaching for what little they had left.

I felt ashamed of what I am wearing because of his presence. "What did you found out about the spider marks on the necks of those we captured, Wynzlette?" Cornell asked. "According to an acquaintance, one of their elders told that they are a sub group of the Desert Spider Pack, which is called the Rising Sun Spider Pack. They are known and talented killers, but she said that they have all been killed. A member of such a pack is impossible to still be alive because even their youngs were all killed." I narrated. "Which group does your acquaintance belongs to?"

Kirou wasn't sure what kind of creature it was, nor was he intending to spook the creature just yet so he allowed it to get closer while pretending to be ignorant. Just as the creature got within twenty meters of Kirou, however, a long string of thread was fired at Kirou, forcing him to take evasive actions. When he turned towards the creature and focused on it, he realized that it was a spider. The spider itself wasn't the biggest creature Kirou has fought but it was still over two meters in height. Human eyes were not designed for that, unless of course they were the transformed eyes of the undead. That’s why only when the curse went into effect, did Reive see the black spider as large as life on the girl’s solar plexus.

I murmured as if no amount of IQ in my brain could answer it. "Honey, I can only tell you that the vampire genetics works like a caterpillar in the cocoon. This way it is not much stranger to explain how caterpillars turn into butterflies."

Then the doctor ran in as we stepped back and Xavier growled as he was male, unmated and unmarked as far as we could tell. "I came as quickly as I could, alpha, what's going on?" he asks, looking at the unconscious girl in front of me. A gasp of fear and shock escapes him and he backs away. "You have to kick her out!! I cannot treat her! She's the Cursed Rogue!! She matches the description perfectly! Alpha, she cannot-" I snapped. "SILENCE!" Xavier roared. It was rare for our wolves to actually speak on their own like that without their human counterpart, but in this instance, I was right along with him. The doctor instantly closed his mouth and bowed his head in submission.
