The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

They hadn’t expected that the lurking force was actually an evil spirit. The term "evil spirit" sounded deeply malevolent, and for good reason. Evil spirits were dark, corrupt entities that absorbed the spiritual energy of heaven and earth. Their primary sustenance came from feeding on the power of beasts and humans, disrupting the natural balance. These spirits were often the lingering remnants of beings—whether beasts, humans, or others—who had died but failed to fully disappear. They had instead turned into malevolent beings. Tyron and the Violet Rain Bird's expressions darkened. The former looked at Adrian, feeling helpless. “This lurking creature seems to be at the Divine Stage, on par

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Caspian was suddenly enlightened as he watched the gradually climbing Devil Qi. "They are indeed dead, but the remaining Rancorous Spirits are also affected by the Devil Qi of the Abyss of Holy Devil and have become evil spirits. Otherwise, ordinary Rancorous Spirits would not have survived in such a place until now!" Caspian did not want to escape. It was because these evil spirits had locked onto him, and then he would chase after them. It was better to kill them now!

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

The scent of the cursed blood

The scent of the cursed blood

1696, St. Austell, Cornwall, England I awoke with an unusual burning sensation enveloping my entire body as I tried to open my arduous eyelids, but the smothering heat engulfed me, drowning me as I started to shake uncontrollably, impelling me to the darkness as I lost consciousness. However, before I was hauled to a bottomless gulf, I heard Amara's revoltingly aggrieved voice. “You will be doomed for an eternity of solitude and suffering, Caleb as you have scathe and betrayed my love for you...”

she questioned. "Well, he isn't exactly cursed but the spirit that lives in him is. An evil spirit called Rakani, a spirit of anger and impatience does live in him and it possessed him the very second that he was born," Acacias explained. "On the day of Ryan's birth, Rakani was looking for an innocent and mindless body to possess because he thought that possessing a body like that would free him but what he didn't know was that, the curse he is under cannot be broken even if he possesses a body,"

The Professor’s Mate: The Moonborn Legacy

The Professor’s Mate: The Moonborn Legacy

One spirit pinned my shoulder, its weight crushing, while another slashed my chest, fabric ripping as skin split open. Blood soaked my shirt, warm and sticky, and the curse amplified every wound, turning pain into fire that consumed my thoughts. Visions looped in my mind—Isabella's kiss with Caleb, her swollen belly, my lonely death. Doubt rooted deeper, sapping my strength, making my strikes slower and weaker. "Get out of my head," I gasped, rolling to avoid a descending claw and kicking upward to disperse a spirit into fog. But they reformed instantly, pressing in tighter, their whispers turning to shouts. "She belongs to another. You’ll die forgotten."

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

Bound to the Moon: The Exorcist's Accidental Alpha

she chanted, her voice echoing with a power that didn't belong to this world. The talisman ignited with a brilliant flare, but the malevolent spirit was older and hungrier than she’d anticipated. It lashed out, a freezing tendril of soul-energy striking Caleb squarely in the chest. He roared, but it wasn't a cry of pain—it was a sound of pure, unadulterated fury. The curse on his soul flared in violent response to the external threat, and for a fleeting, terrifying second, the spectral image of a massive, silver-white wolf appeared behind him, baring fangs that could tear through dimensions. The spirit shrieked in terror and evaporated into a cloud of harmless mist.

The Alpha's Touch: Revival of the Eastern Kingdom

The Alpha's Touch: Revival of the Eastern Kingdom

“Ursula… how could you, how could you, how could you?!” The Spirit taking up the body of a man and head like a goat laughed at Luntian’s words. “Not true? Not true? Oh, your naivete amuses me.” The Spirit of the Underworld unearths a cigarette and then snaps his fingers to produce a minute flame. “The brother of the Luna is a monster and your sister is the one who created this thing...” The menacing Spirit gestured at Luther. “A curse has been made to the spirit.” The ram said, blowing out his cigarette. “I cannot take him to the Underworld.” And a wicked smile. “Thank you for the show, daughter of Amihan. Now I must go,” Luntian’s breath hitched and she looked at the Spirit with wide unblin

Spirit bound by the Alpha's curse

Spirit bound by the Alpha's curse

"No. This is a new development. The curse has gotten stronger, and I've been told it'll only keep growing unless I find a way to break the curse." This was a little white lie Cassian and I had agreed on. "And this curse was the work of witches?" "Centuries ago, yes," I replied. "It was their way of retaliating when they were forced to go underground." "I don't understand. Their way of retaliating was by cursing an urn which had a wolf spirit trapped inside?" "It wasn't just any wolf spirit, remember. It was the wolf spirit of the then Queen of Werewolves, Cora."

cursed

cursed

She felt it was her responsibility, but she also knew she couldn't fight them alone, but she needed help from others, she thought. She used her curse which was "cursed speech". She was able to make something happen with just a word. If she was to say die to anyone they would die instantly, but that depends on how strong the soul of the person was. She used her cursed speech to curse three swords, that can be used to kill anyone that was cursed, with a stab in the chest. She wanted to do more but she couldn't, the cursed energy was too heavy for her mortal body to behold. The three she did take a toll on her body and she lost her voice. She wasn't able to speak or talk again since that day.

He punched him but not before Cai Kang dodged and crushed his arm. Unfazed by this, his arm revert back. "Hm, I guess I should start." He then felt heavy and realized that he is chained up by his ankles and wrists, "Oooh, I see now. My name is Kuruk. I am a bear spirit." Cai Kang raised his fists, "No one asked." "Or rather a disgraced spirit, I was fired from my post in the original world and came here instead. I am glad that I found you," he broke out of the chains surprising Cai Kang.
