He had jumped from one question to another, giving her no clear answer. “What are they?” She gulped, thinking he won’t reply but unexpectedly he easily answered. “How do I describe it easier for you to understand,” he hummed to himself, whispering underneath his breaths. “They are humans, a little bit. But cursed. Like how these werewolves are,, they are gifted but also cursed. A smile broke out of his naturally pale face—a face I don't find attractive. A lot of people, mostly humans, claim that vampires are attractive, but in my opinion, they aren't as handsome and beautiful as Lycans. A vampire looks like a walking dead. They are naturally pale and cold. How can you even enjoy a night with these creatures when their touch is cold? Even their faces don't look alive. What I want is a face that shows vigor, a touch that gives warmth, and someone who gives the impression of sending you to heaven, not hell.

While she was looking for answers to her questions, something caught her eye. "A black cape? Long-sleeved white shirt? And a red bow?” Cyrille's eyes begin to widen. She was overjoyed with the mixed emotions she was experiencing at the time, and she couldn't believe that after days of fruitless hunting, she'd have the good fortune to meet a vampire.

Despite the strangeness of the situation, Melia found herself finding his astonishment rather amusing. "Vampire..." he murmured, his gaze shifting towards Melia. "Perfect!" he exclaimed, throwing his arms up in a rare moment of elation. "It explains everything. It explains why you're still here, alive. Why... Or maybe... Perhaps, for once, being insignificant would work in my favor. I walked from around the tree and as soon as I was in front of the vampire, the compulsion lifted. “Well, you are just a pup,” he said, looking me over. I also took this time to look him over. He wasn’t very tall, maybe an inch or so taller than me. His hair was dark brown, cut short and his face was square, with sharp angles everywhere. As he looked at me with his dark, ruddy eyes, his expression was that of one looking at an insect they were trying to dissect.

The guilt he must be feeling right now. “So, you were a vampire from the beginning?” Amber asked, and I looked at him keenly. He didn’t look like a vampire, to be honest. Not that I knew what vampires looked like, except Edward Cullen and Damon. It didn’t matter, though. Even if Beta Tarr was truly a vampire, I would say he was a very attractive one at that.
