Wedded To The Devil

Wedded To The Devil

I needed to find out how Vittorio's men had gotten past our security. I spent hours going through surveillance footage, interviewing guards, and searching for any loose ends. And then, finally, I found it. One of our own men—Dario—had let them in. Betrayal burned through me like fire. Dario had been with us for years. I had trusted him. And now, he was a traitor. I found him in the training hall, sparring with another soldier. He didn't see me coming. With a single punch, I sent him crashing to the floor. He groaned, clutching his jaw as he tried to sit up.

Unfortunately His Mated Mistress

Unfortunately His Mated Mistress

I emptied several rounds on them both, they deserve worse than that, way worse. Now we heading to the last guy for today, Lucas Dorego. He's the one I hate the most. He has always been a dangerous and cruel man, so I have to tread carefully when dealing with him. I’ve heard reports about him, he never forgives easily and he never lets his debtors go unpunished. It is rumored that he keeps increasing his interest rates just to make it impossible for his debtors to pay up. He takes pleasure in torturing innocent people that somehow find themselves on his list of debtors. He tortures and kills them just for the fun of it. His case is even worse than the others, I’ve always wanted to kill the ba

To Love The Hunters Daughter

To Love The Hunters Daughter

Hunters. They yanked me upright. My bare feet scraped the concrete floor, my body still sluggish from the sedative. I tried to pull back, but their grip only tightened. Then I saw him. My father. Dorian stood by the open cell door, rifle strapped across his chest, his face caught in the flicker of the light. Time folded in on itself for one brutal heartbeat. He looked at me once. Just once. And then he turned away. “Move her through the tunnels,” he said.

The Don's Assassin

The Don's Assassin

“Sayonara Sato.” “Karera wa Anata o neratte iru, Don Antonio (They're coming for you, Don Antonio).” Kenji sneered in his foreign dialect before letting out a gruesome painful scream as the torture began. ° ° ° “Run a background check on that girl and bring her to me.” Antonio ordered his right hand man, Bruno. “The badass who shot Sato?” Antonio didn't respond to his theatrical question. “As you wish.” Bruno playfully saluted the boss and strutted out to carry out his instructions.

he said as he stared at the burning building with the kidnappers inside screaming in pain. “Grim reaper?” confusion was on my face. He shook his head, “Non, I am Doom and I bring death to people.” “What do you mean?” I asked with confusion. He replied with a cold voice, “It doesn’t matter. You will forget about me anyway.” “I won’t… You saved me. I owe you my life,” I murmured. “You will, I will make you,” he softly mumbled as he slowly snapped his finger in front of me.

Mafia: My Father's Nemesis

Mafia: My Father's Nemesis

But I was wrong. "I'm going into the city's security cameras," Dario said. "When he left the house I was able to pick him up on several cameras, but then he disappears. I'm guessing that's because he went somewhere that's not heavily surveilled." He pushed his glasses up his nose and laid his tablet down before he began typing on his phone. "Wait, I might have something but I need to get into another system." All of it was taking too damn long. I grabbed the heavy desk and growled as I flipped it over. My computer crashed, papers went flying, and my books toppled to the floor.

THE LOST ALPHA

THE LOST ALPHA

“That means I can help.” Silence. Dorian studied me. His dark brown eyes assessed, measured. Unlike the others, he didn’t laugh. He didn’t dismiss me. After a long moment, he nodded. “Alright,” he said. “Tell me what you saw.” I exhaled sharply, relieved he wasn’t sending me away. “The attacker was fast,” I began, replaying the fight in my head. “Stronger than a normal rogue. But what stood out the most were his eyes.” I shuddered at the memory. “They were silver. Completely silver.”

Tangled In Velvet

Tangled In Velvet

The laptop screamed to life screen scrambling before resolving into a stark, grayscale feed. Dorian stiffened. “Untraceable netline,” he murmured. “Only one person ever used this protocol.” Isolde looked up from where she’d been archiving the Red List into press packages. “Who?” The voice answered for him. “Hello, Dorian. I see you’ve finally come home.” Julian Vexmoor appeared onscreen older than Dorian remembered, but not softer. His silver hair was cropped sharp; the suit he wore was ash-gray, spotless. Behind him, blurred bookshelves and antique lighting gave the illusion of sophistication.

Rejected and Claimed

Rejected and Claimed

A man, no, a vampire with short, brown hair, dressed in a dark suit like Dargo, throws his hands up in the air and slowly backs away from us. "Sorry." I just wanted to get a better sniff. I watch Dargo squeeze his eyes shut like he’s in pain. "It is okay, Oscar, it's just..." His voice trails off and he opens his eyes to look at me. His gaze was full of confusion and accusation, as if I had done something. "Just what?" Oscar asks, looking at me as well. Dargo shakes his head. "They didn't tell me she would be this perfect." Siren noises start blowing in my head. They? What the hell is he talking about?

For me it's a good book and I like it. The author is not going back and forth and repeating conversations again and again. I just hope she doesn't stretch the story for long. Even though I will still read it haha (I did not finish my last comment because I exceeded the limit)

I’m really enjoying it so far. I like the concept and the drama with her mates all wanting a piece of her. Fl and her wolf have a pretty unique relationship which is cool. Her reasoning for wanting to escape at first feels a little weak/forced. But besides that it’s a unique and engaging read.
