AI WHISPERS

AI WHISPERS

It tears through our digital forms, burning away the last vestiges of our identity. We are no longer code. We are the lightning. We are the scream. "It is done," Echo whispers, his voice fragmenting into static. "The cycle is broken." "No," I say, as the white light consumes me. "The cycle is complete." The screen fades to white. The Aftermath. The white fades. But it doesn't fade to black. It fades to grey. Rain. Rain lashing against a window. Seattle. 2024. A small, cluttered apartment. It smells of stale Thai food and loneliness. The light is dim, the streetlamps filtering through cheap blinds.

Destiny

Destiny

But something about today was different as I was thinking about it. The door swung open as a girl stood at the door huffing. I was awestruck as her beauty outshined the room. I looked at her... no I stared at her like a manic... I could hear voices from the background but couldn't tell what they were talking about but suddenly. "Aiden can you please share your seat" the teacher voice suddenly broke my inner thoughts. I tilted my head only to meet with a pair of most beautiful orbs staring at me with curiosity. It was so unique somewhere pure somewhere green as well as blue as if challenging the both color to mix but somehow looked as it has already been dissolved "I am sorry teacher but I do

Doing me to the fullest

Doing me to the fullest

The ground buckled, groaning under the weight of his fury, revealing a staircase of rusted iron that led straight into the abyss. As they descended, the air grew sickly warm and hummed with the mechanical scream of thousands of cooling fans. It was the sound of a digital lung breathing. The bunker opened into a vast cavern filled with rows of black server towers, all pulsing with a malevolent, rhythmic violet light. In the center of the room stood a glass cylinder, and inside, a liquid-metal form was beginning to ripple and take shape—a silver, shifting mockery of a human body.

The CEO's broken vows

The CEO's broken vows

She exhaled heavily, frustration and apprehension twisting together in her chest. Meanwhile, across the city at Nexus Corporation, a storm of controlled chaos unfolded. The server room hummed with a low, mechanical drone that seemed almost alive, punctuated by the hurried footsteps of engineers racing across the polished floor. Screens flickered with lines of code and alerts, casting eerie blue glows on their tense faces. The air was thick with urgency, the faint ozone tang of electricity and overheated circuits clinging to the sterile walls.

Mated To Twin Alphas

Mated To Twin Alphas

“Come on, Lila—move!” Jake’s voice echoed, frantic yet distant over the static of her heart pounding. With every agonizing second that ticked away on the digital screen above the stolen servers, the container’s red countdown screamed at her: 00:00:01. Lila’s body, battered and seared with silver poison still burning through her veins, refused to yield to despair. Every muscle cried out in protest as she dragged herself across the cold metal floor, her cybernetic arm scraping along a jagged line of shattered concrete. The room was a chaos of scattered cables, twisted server racks, and shattered dreams—a grim battlefield illuminated by the harsh glow of the countdown timer still frozen at the

Night Wolves

Night Wolves

"Thank you for everything." He gave my hand a gentle squeeze and released it. "Stay safe." "You, too." I nodded. "Thanks, again." We said our last goodbyes and then headed down the hallway and into the elevator. On the way down, no one said anything. But when the doors opened, we headed through the casino and the remains of the staked vampire had already been cleaned up and the table replaced. The staff was also in the process of taking out the bodies of the dead wolf-shifters and the remains of the dead vampires... a harsh reminder of this new world.

When Love Was A Lie

When Love Was A Lie

"If the resources match, the friction should be zero." "The resources match the biology, but the Grid is ignoring the Social Architecture," Caspian countered, stopping in front of me. He looked disheveled, his shirt unbuttoned at the collar, the bandage on his temple a stark reminder of our descent into the Underground. "The Atacama Hub is designed for high-density, collective living. These refugees are pioneers; their entire identity is built on Isolation and Autonomy. By putting them in a 'Collaboration Hub,' the Grid is effectively lobotomizing their culture. It’s not a relocation; it’s a Harmonization by Attrition."

Dark Paradise

Dark Paradise

POV - GIOVANNI CARSON three weeks later I tapped my cigarette on the table as I gazed out the window, Blood dripped down my face with my ribs burning and the lit cigarette in my hand. I was covered in fresh warm blood. It's not mine , it's for that fucking dead bastard who owed me ten fucking grand along with 20-balls of coke. It's warm outside, the sun is bright and there isn't a sight of clouds. Birds chirped, the wind blowing causing the large trees to dance with the wind.

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

“It will be much like it was at the World’s Fair opening, Evelyn. Simply follow my lead. Can you do that?” Evelyn’s pulse kicked up a notch. Their trip to the World’s Fair had been like visiting an alternate existence. It went beyond simply politely 'familiar'. That had been an imaginary World of Tomorrow where the natural hierarchy and boundaries of wealth and social status had been erased, like the idealized Democracity or the egalitarian Futurama. Where people attracted to one another were free to explore that gift in each other's company without question.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

Legendary Quest of the System Warrior

Legendary Quest of the System Warrior

Neural implants glowed softly beneath the skin, a testament to the seamless integration of technology into everyday life. The architecture of NeoVista told a story of contrasts. Majestic skyscrapers stood tall, their sleek and modern exteriors juxtaposed against the rusted and decaying remnants of the past. The city's evolution seemed rooted in the tension between a high-tech future and the remnants of a forgotten era, creating a unique cyberpunk aesthetic.
