I sniffed the air for any sign of danger, and finding none, I crossed the boundary, immediately breaking out into a run. I ran and ran and ran. The ground pounding beneath my feet. I can’t spare the time. Thirty miles. I could run that in an hour if I stay at this speed. Maybe less. The forest lined road leading out of the valley is a blur of deep green. The road leading to the Roguelands fades behind me. The plains open up, painted gray and deep gold, free of the fog cloaking Silverhide in darkness. The stars turn from bright bulbs to streaks of light at this speed. I chase the sunrise, my paws pounding over raw earth, kicking up dust. I leap over the width of the creek, my heart pounding, and land on the opposite bank, my claws curling into the rough, solid ground of Endova.

Without any hesitation, I run out of the hospital trying so hard to pick her scent. Sky's P.O.V Lightning flashed, thunder rumbled dangerously in the sky. The wind howled its way into everyone's home. The clouds were thick and dark threatening to break loose. As if on cue, I felt one rain drop hit my cheek then another hit my forehead, within a few seconds a whole army came pouring down hitting hard on my skin. The wet mud stuck under my bare feet but I didn't even care. All I wanted to do was to escape....escape from life...escape from this complicated life I've been born into.
